I have no idea what the other reviewer is talking about. These are absolutely perfect. They were a great price and do exactly what I expect them to do.

The quality
The finish on these easels aren't quite as nice as the other ones I've purchase from another company. I use them for the stones I make to paint animals faces and they can be in a stand up position when I'm finished by using easels..... The ones from Juvale Store in Monrovia, CA are the best.

hinge problem
2 of them are not able to hold the plates, coz the hinges are too lose

THESE ARE NOT FOR PLATES!
The racks came timely. They appear well made for the cost BUT they do NOT hold an average size dinner plate for display. I bought them to use to display decorated 8 inch dinner plates for a show and when you open them up and put the plate on, they immediately close up and dump the plate. I tried several times. I will use them for small framed items or saucers but don't try them on plates. For that reason, I will keep them. Other than that they are ok

There is a structural flaw with these plate stands
They are not constructed properly and they do not stay open. They fall open and the plates fall out and BREAK. The two pieces of wood are not aligned properly. I would not buy them again. In fact I would never buy plate holders on line again after this experience.
