Delicious and easy to use
Dried anchovies are an essential ingredient for authentic Korean dishes, but you have to remove the heads and dig out the guts, or your broth becomes bitter. Then you have to fish them out (no pun intended) after cooking or put them in a mesh bag. This product does all the hard work for you. I made some delicious doenjang jjigae and also some Japanese oden stock, the product tastes great in those recipes.

Absolutely a must for sundubu-jjigae
I use to make sundubu-jjigae as I'm the only one in my family that enjoys it so it's convenient to have these. Tastes delicious!

Great flavor and convenient
Excellent soup base. Very convenient to use. Just place the pouch into boiling water and steep for 10 minutes.

Very weak
Very little flavor from boiling this to make stock. The package said two liters and I used less than half that. It smelled and tasted a little fishy but not very. It also has the consistency of tree bark, which seems odd given that it’s dried anchovies.
