A very good deal
January 2010 update:I'm not sure who TonerPals is(the seller currently listed for this product). When I bought this in September 2009, it was from OCinkjet and I received free shipping. I wrote the review based on that, because I believed the product was exclusive to that company.I bought two ink cartridges from OC and although I've printed out quite a few documents this past semester, I just ran out of ink on the first cartridge this week. I don't think TonerPals is associated with OCinkjet, because I still get coupons regularly sent to me from OC. I plan to reorder from the original company because I'm not sure who this seller is or why they're linked to this product. TonerPals might be a fine company but they are unknown to me. My glowing review (and I believe the other glowing reviews) are for the cartridges I received from OC. Just be aware that if you choose to purchase the product currently listed, you may be buying something that really has no stars/reviews at all.###(Original review for OCinkjets cartridges)Thanks to W. Hales' review, I took a chance on ordering these ink cartridges. I've used only one so far but it's been great. I've ordered other refilled cartridges and the ink didn't print out sharp.I figured since I wasn't using these for anything of major importance it would still be a good deal if they turned out to be a smeary repeat of previous experiences. But so far, so good. I just used them to print some party invitations and they look fine. I was also pleased that the company didn't charge me for shipping. With the crazy cost of HP cartridges, this is definitely worth it and I'm sure I'll be back.Just a heads-up, my cartridges came with some kind of clip-on cover (usually I've only seen them covered with a piece of tape). So if they seem like the wrong size, make sure you've removed that clip before trying to install them in your printer (like I tried to do)!

Good value for money
I had to print several pages right away ~100. Half way through, one of the cartridges ran out of ink, at about 50-55 pages.I did print about 20-30 pages in high quality, 'Normal' setting on HP printers, 600 dpi; and the rest in 'Fast Draft', which is lower quality, 300 dpi. With second cartridge, I printed about 50 pages in Fast Draft, and cartridge is still going. So I would say you should expect 30-50% of ink quantity compared to the original HP ones. Considering that the price is about 20% [$3 vs. $15 per cartridge], this is excellent value for money. I did not notice any significant difference in quality. Printer software does complain that 'cartridge was used previously' or 'cannot determine ink level', but does not affect printing in any manner.Overall happy with the purchase, will probably buy again.

Better than Expected
I bought these for my mom who mainly uses her printer with black ink and for some reason she loves to make copies with the printer too. The brand name new ink cartridges are just way overpriced and some of the generics we bought before have had issues. These were great. Absolutely no problems with ink pouring out or problems with the fit. I would have to say that these are a great value and I will definitely purchase them again in the future. So if you are reluctant about buying remanufactured don't be. Buy these and you will be happy and save money!

Great deal! Why pay more for ink?
I purchased these in May 2010 from TonerPals and am still using the 1st cartridge in my HP Photosmart C3180 All in One Printer/Scanner/Copier. Although I don't print that often, the expensive HP ink that I previously used seemed to run out much faster. With these cartridges, you can't see the remaining ink level (it always displays as empty), but I quickly learned to live without that. The quality is good enough for my use (USPS labels, boarding passes, coupons, etc). I don't even bother buying color ink anymore. When I need more black ink, I will definitely buy remanufactured ink cartridges again!

Unreliable
These cartridges are not reliable. The first one I used (package of 2) worked relatively well, but the ink is not as dark as real black ink. With the second one, at first my printer didn't recognize it and kept saying there was no cartridge in place, then the ink is even of lower quality and it gets smudged. Some times when I print with the "best quality" settings, the printing turns out decent, but some other times there is a mess in the paper, one sentence is clearly readable, the other one is much lighter... when printing in "draft" settings, ink is smudged and letters and lines are crooked (no matter how many times I align the whatever it is that you align in the printer settings). So, give them a try if you must, they are really cheap and work for unimportant disposable things if you actually make them work, but do not rely on them, always have a back up!

No quality Control??
Well, I just got two new black ink cartridges and the one that I put in approximately 2-3 weeks ago is printing out a faded blue. Don't have a clue as to why it is doing this as the cartridge I replaced was from the same company and it printed out a nice dark black (didn't last long but neither did the much more expensive HP cartridges). Last summer I ordered a black and a colored cartridge from the same company and the black cartridge was fine (the one I just replaced) but the colored one never did work. The company was prompt in replacing it with another colored cartridge but now I have a black cartridge that prints out blue. Like I said I question their quality control. I do very little printing so there is no way for it to be running low on ink.

Worked fine, didn't leak.
I've had nothing but cartridges from HP for my HP printers and they leaked. Once an HP Customer Engineer asked if I was using refills (non-HP cartridges) as a way of explaining the leaking inside my printer. I told him I was an HP employee and I got all my cartridges through HP - which really come from Staples supplies of HP products. Now that I'm retired I thought I'd try to use the cheaper products since I'm now paying. I find they work just as well, and don't leak.

Very good for the price
Very good for the price , sometime the printer reject and I have to reset it, but can not complain.
