Takes on any flavour you want
Yu&Mi dried Konyaku Shirataki Noodles. My first order of this kind of noodles arrived very promptly and to my surprise the packet contained 9 instead of 8 individual pouches. So thank you to whoever assembled my order. There was no needless packaging, just a simple cardboard box containing the produce. My first impression: Simple but sufficient packaging arrived without any damage. Clear instructions on every pouch. On opening the first pouch, there was almost no smell to the produce. Maybe just a hint of a plasticky smell which completely dissipated after soaking the noodles in hot water for 5 minutes as per instruction. The soaked and drained noodles are without any taste, smell or flavour. For me this makes them the perfect accompainment for any dish packed full of flavour. The noodles will take on any flavour you like.I would describe the texture as slightly rubbery but in some way also al dente. I certainly have never before eaten anything like it but am very happy I have tried.Pricing: At £ 23.45 for 800g dried noodles far too expensive. My verdict: A good alternative for low carb food if you are looking for something different.Would I buy again? I certainly would but maybe from a less pricey source.

Mmmmmmmm delicious
These are the best low carb noodles I have found so far. They are a bit more expensive than others but as they say, you get what you pay for. I eat these almost every night as the carb replacement in various noodle based dishes such as red and green Thai curry, pad Thai, curries and Chinese stir fries and even as a spaghetti replacement. They have zero odour and are softer (much less rubbery) than normal konjack noodles.

Delicious!
Excellent rice! Wish I bought more of it whilst it was on Subscribe and Save. Unfortunately, now that its been removed from subscription its too pricey. Still a good product but can't justify the cost.

Best Konjac/Shirataki Products Around!
My partner and I have tried other wet brand shirataki noodles before and haven't been impressed by texture or how it takes on the flavour. These are far superior and you do not have to go through the ordeal of rinsing out the artificial preservative/"fishy" water (it doesn't have a smell at all, even when dry). We bought both the noodles and rice. The noodles use a simple preparation method of soaking in boiling hot water for 5 mins then draining. However, you can also skip the draining altogether and rehydrate the noodles in a broth (for example) so that it absorbs the flavour and you can have them as soup noodles. As for the rice, this takes a bit more preparation by simmering in a pot for 10 mins but it takes on a texture much closer to rice than the alternative we've used (cauliflower rice). We like to use a bit of butter and salt after cooking to give it some flavour. Texture is a bit gummy but with a good al dente-like bite if cooked right. These have both been a great addition to our healthy lifestyle; cutting the carbs and calories down significantly. As my partner is Asian, she had a hard time finding an alternative to to rice and noodles (which she would eat on an almost daily basis!) so its been a real game changer.Would fully recommend.

Lovely texture, takes on the taste of your flavouring
Best low cal spagetti ive tried, I specifically bought this as I could not stand the smell of the wet konjac noodles and that residue fishy taste even if i wash it out 6 times. This has none of that, if you season your meal well it takes on that taste. Virtually no smell. If spagetti is 10/10 this is 8/10 which is not bad considering. Expensive as you do not get many packs is the only problem I have with this product. Absolutely recommend.

Too expansive for the quantity
It is a good quality product but the seller is selling it for an extraordinary price that's the reason why as soon as I will find a price will stop buying from this seller. E

Tasty but expensive
I bought these many years ago in a VegFest, and I really loved them. It just occurred to me to look for it on Amazon to save on my daily calorie intake. And I still love them to be fair. They don’t smell fishy, as the other brands that are ready made, and to me there isn’t much difference in taste, so I’m very happy with them. However, they’re quite pricey in comparison to normal rice for instance. That’s why the 4 stars. Yes it is less in calories, but in the grand scheme of things, I don’t find it a sustainable alternative if it’s so expensive.
