Arrived remarkably quickly and well packaged - each castor in its own bubble wrap bag, and all in a sturdy box. I bought these to replace the five plastic double wheel castors on my IKEA executive office chair, which had started to drag, rather than roll. Cleaning and WD-40 made no difference so it was time to upgrade to something more substantial. There are a huge number of options for replacement castors on Amazon, so make sure you measure your old ones and check compatibility. It actually took me longer to unpack these from the box than it did to fit them - pull out old one, push in new one until it clicks. They are very study and completely silent on my hardwood floor - a world of difference. Hopefully they will last, but so far, this is the best £16 I have spent in ages!

It is a bold statement to say "life changing", but these castors have improved my daily life at my desk, for sure. They have made a stubborn/awkward/difficult Ikea chair user-friendly - at last!

Eventually the ball bearings started to appear on the floor. While they lasted they were fine though and are a lot cheaper than buying a whole new chair.

I needed new wheels on a chair, which is not from the Ikea range but it does take 10mm wheels so these sounded perfect. The next day delivery was a real bonus as I was fed up with the quality and build of the ones that came with my chair. I quickly changed them over, which took me the whole of 5 minutes, and the chair now glides around the room with no noise whatsoever. The wheels are well made using a soft polyurethane compound with fully sealed bearings, much like modern skateboards.I would certainly recommend them to anyone who needs 10mm wheels and I am thinking of putting more of them on a flat piece of wood to place under my toolboxes to vastly reduce the noise when moving them around. Maybe they will work well outside, I will have to get some on a flower pot dolly and see if they get affected by the English weather. I will add to this review at a later date, to let others know if they do cope outside

I bought these casters to change the ones that came with my ikea chair. The fit is perfect and the wheels work pretty well. I'm pretty happy with the product. Let's check if they will last enough time to worth the money. They look sturdy.
