Sabatier Sharpening Edgekeeper Pro 21-Piece Forged Triple Rivet Knife Block Set

These knives are excellent quality for the price. I enjoyed the weight and robustness of the knives—in fact more so than my Wustof set. The only thing that I didn’t like was the block. Overall these knives are excellent quality, and come sharp enough to shave with right out of the box (believe me, I tried).

As others have said, these aren't industrial-quality knives. For the price, you can't beat their performance in a home kitchen. They aren't quite as sharp, heavy, or robust as professional knives, but they do the trick.

This set is nice enough for the price, solid and very complete. The Santuko could have been a little longer, and the bread knife longer provide a smoother cut. I have large hands so,I would have preferred the blade(handle) on the Santuko a bit higher to keep the hand from touching the cutting board, tho it is very sharp and solid. The only REAL niggle is that the steak knives still had sharp unfinished metal sticking out at the serrated edges and the Chef's knive had a bit of unfinished metal at the underside of the blade end of the handle. Overall a good, complete set. The knives are mostly VERY sharp and well balanced.Recommended if you don't NEED (require) a highly finished, refined knife set.

Really love this knife set! Had returned a set from a different brand because water seeped into the handle. This set does not have a down side at all. Quality, great feel in the hand, and awesome knife choices. Glad I went with Sabatier! Love that there’s a sharpener built in, cleaver, and so many steak knives.

Writing this review in October, I purchased this set in June-July. Average kitchen use. Knifes starting showing rust spots immediately. Good edge and like the built-in sharpener. After a months use I wished I had spent all my $$$$ on that expensive set I had in my cart. I must be getting stronger, I'm 39 and I have never broke a knife in my life. I was just cutting some celery.... Get the expensive ones..

I bought these as a replacement for my last set. I'm not disappointed. The built in sharpener is very convenient for me and they're not heavy. I have arthritis in my hands and wrists, I don't get fatigued quickly cutting anything.

Purchased this 2 years ago so it is too late to replace. One knife broke about 1.5 years after purchase. The second knife just broke 2 years after purchase. I wish they weren't so easily breakable. At least they lasted 2 years but I hoped for much more use. What I liked were the sharpening tool attached in the back. The bigger knifes are a little more sturdy. The scissors were the best out of all and I use them so much. They are pretty sturdy.

These knives are amazing. Sharp. Easy to use. Excellent weight.I used the butcher's knife to cut a beef leg bone and it went rather smooth. Highly recommend them!
