This is my second purchase of the Harness Lead ... my first one was smaller for my SHih-Tzu . I use his lead as a collar/lead not harness lead. Works well w/ my Shih-Tzu!This leash/lead is also perfect for the Houdini style dogs!!!I have a rescue border terrier mix who loves to put on the brakes when she does not want to walk or go in the opposite direction of our intended walk .. with my other numerous leashes, collars, harnesses she would be able to back out and escape every single time. This leash/lead prevents her escape by tightening around her front leg area [not the belly area, and not the throat area so NO choking!! ]...thus she stops moving and i'm able to work with her to go in the intended direction.If you use this as a harness and the dog pulls too hard too much... and thus tightens the lead around the legs too much [which is what my dog used to do] you must stop and re-adjust the lead ... ... . After a few weeks she learned not to pull away from me so hard that it tightened too much. Now we can go on a long walk and when she tries to go a different direction she won't pull hard thus allowing the leash to re-adjust itself.The product itself is well constructed, have had a smaller one from almost 8 months now and has held up very well, not fraying at all, rubber stoppers still going strong !!BEST OF ALL , MADE IN USA!!!THANK YOU FOR CREATING THIS HARNESS/ LEAD IT TRULY IS A LIFE SAVER .. A LIFE SAVER FOR MY DOG !!!!

I admit I was skeptical about this leash. We have an adorable puggle husky mix revue who loves to pull all leashes making walking cumbersome and unenjoyable. We’ve tried multiple leads, leashes and harnesses to help with this problem but none have worked. I saw this and while hesitant, watched the video and decided to give it a try. It’s a game changer for us! It’s easy to put on, stays in place and actually works! Our guy still pulls a little, bit the improvement has been so dramatic & when he pulls it actually makes him stop a few feet out. We are enjoying walks so much more now. I can not recommend this more highly! Love it!!

This is the third harness we've tried for our Pyrenees, who will dislocate your shoulder to get where he wants. It was recommended by a relative. They love theirs. Their dog is an escape artist. This is good for that purpose. But not good for our dog, who also likes to mess with harnesses and to just lay down when he doesn't get his way. So, any harness with a front attachement component, he will get his mouth under. This one, he can actually turn around and chew on the black ring. He's quite flexible, apparently! Plus he bites us during the entire complicated process of putting this on and taking it off. Sensing our mounting frustration, once we finally got him outside, he just laid down and wouldn't walk. This was pretty much a disaster. Giving ours to the family member who recommended it. We ended up with the Doggy Kingdom harness. It took forever to get here, but he walks like a dream with it. He did get his mouth under the front strap once but I tightened it and so far, so good.

Game changing leashes. Made in USA and they work as advertised and are safe to use. I can now take my dogs for walks without being pulled and it is helping me to train them. Ordered one for each dog (Pitbull and Foxhound) and they work great for both types of dogs. These were recommended by our dog trainer and local shelter and now I also recommend them.

This is the first harness I have found that actually fits the depth of a Great Dane's chest comfortably with none of the rubbing to make sore spots that other harnesses have. It works well to control him (weight 145) and it will grow with him as it is adjustable in size so if he hits his top estimated weight of 170 it will still fit and and will still control him on our walks (I weigh 120 and I can easily control him).

After our Kelpie girl backed out of one of her harnesses, i figured it was time to try and find an escape proof one. This is it! It's light, not bulky so its not hot in the summer months and in Arizona that's a plus. She tends to pull slightly with this as well, but nowhere near what she was pulling with a harness. She would pull so hard out of excitement that she would back flip. This has greatly reduced that and we are working on the rest. Overall, i highly recommend this harness for people that want peace of mind while they are out with their pups and not worry about them slipping out. Its a good length and feels sturdy enough to me that i trust it. I plan to order more colors. Highly recommend!

Lead harness works great! One of the only harnesses that I use daily! It is very easy to put on the dog and very secure for control when walking. I have a 95lb pit and I have no complaints about this purchase. When training in classes, we use it and have gotten many people to purchase this. When the dog pulls, he feels the restriction across his belly rather than around his neck and self corrects himself.

Really does help a lot with pulling. We alternative between the harness and this leash depending on where we walk. I can tell a big difference when I use this leash!! This makes our walks SO much better, loose leash most of the time!! And it doesn't effect how my dog feels/reacts versus the harness.The leash has minor give, it feels and looks like a boat docking rope, not really sure why the stretch rating is there? Very lightweight. I'd buy it again, but doubt I'll need to. Love it!!

Looking for an alternative to the usual harness (which our dog hates) I ordered this type of rope harness. It worked like a charm after taking just a few days to get accustomed to the procedure,of putting it on our dog. Then the rubber disc started to slip and then the tighter black rubber stoppers were slipping as well allowing the rope to tighten to the point where our dog was literally strangling.Although the concept and design are great another form of material will be required in order to maintain resistance and not slip. Consequently, I would not recommend unless your dog walks at heel all the time.

Greatest leash ever!! My dog is a puller making him hard to walk. I have bought multiple leashes trying to find one I can effectively use. Look no more. With this leash my 5 year old granddaughter can walk him. I love this leash!
