Pre de Provence Luxe Body Butter, White Gardenia, (6.75 oz)

I first tried this in a small boutique shop. I loved the smell and feel, but it was pricey in the shop. I looked on Amazon and found it at an amazing price. I ordered it and I absolutely LOVE it! It is a full size container and the butter smells so wonderful and feels so silky. It does not leave a greasy feeling. I have had many compliments on the nice smell. I also ordered the soap bar. It is amazing also. I found a keeper in this product. GREAT product and GREAT price. THANKS AMAZON!

I was always a L'Occitane en Province customer solely because of the shea butter/milk scented products. This is a very good alternative at a fraction of the cost. The body butter itself has a full body its about the consistency of cold sour cream. It does not leave a greasy feeling to it. The scent is amazing and reminds me of the L'Occitane shea butter products. I am pleased with how moisturized my skin feels since I do have very dry skin. Overall I am extremely pleased with my purchase and will be buying this again.

Partly due to age and partly due to thyroid condition my facial skin became very "riverbed dry" and actually hurt. I found Pre de Provence's 10% Shea Body Butter and was thrilled with the quick appearance and relief results without leaving any oily residual. Their Luxe Butter, being more of a lighter, whipped, less potent version of the 10% Shea Body Butter, did not excite me. (It is absorbed immediately and seems to totally disappear making me wonder if it is still "working". I can feel the 10% Shea Body Butter longer in my skin than the LUXE Butter.) On a recent vacation I packed only the LUXE Butter. Being forced to use this version daily opened my eyes to the fact it does work. To me it's PREFERENCE. I like the whipped LUXE Butter, yet, feel I LOVE the denser 10% Shea Body Butter. Both are offered scented....lavender being my favorite.I will finish using my container of whipped Luxe Butter, however, will only reorder the denser 10% Shea Body Butter version.

The lavender body cream I love is no longer made, so I have searched for a substitute. This is certainly not it. The texture is very nice and silky and it goes on smoothly. However, it is not very moisturizing, more like a lotion. What I really dislike is the scent. It has a sharp fragrance that makes me think of really cheap shaving cream. Would not buy this again.

I rarely leave any reviews but I felt like I needed to this time. I am very disappointed about this purchase. This is the second time I bought this product because the body butter is not too greasy and actually the scent is not too strong. I went ahead with the second purchase with additional 3 jars and they all arrived with expiration of 3/2019. I don’t think I can finish using 3 jars in a month and seller did not take this into consideration. Also all 3 lids on the jar were with lots of scratches and the jars just did not seem new. I will have to return these products!

Love love love. I have the driest skin known to woman. Wonderful. Found at an Antique Store, tried, loved, found at Amazon, done. Will order more

Ahhhhhhh. Seriously, this will be your first utterance after opening the jar and inhaling the natural clean lemon scent. This will be folllowed by you saying 'OMG!' As this body butter melts into your skin. Scent becomes lighter and will not over power any perfume.There are Zero petroleum products, the Pre De Provence body butter soooooo moisterizing. No greasy feeling and the moisterizer lasrs all day.Can you tell I love this little treat for myself? I suggest you give it a try. I use body products A Lot. This cream will be (figurativaly) licked clean when the jar gets empty ;)

I love Pre de Provence products -- I have many different kinds and scents -- and this verbena body butter smells wonderful. It moistures well without bothering my sensitive skin. Use it after a bath or shower for optimal effects. It's also good as a before-bed cream to wake up to supple skin.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann
