SPRAY PAINT RULES
For the love of it, as with any aerosol, do this outside & on a covered space; spray paint rules TOTALLY apply. You need to hold this quite a distance from the item you're glazing, continuous spray only (never spritz), move gently as you spray, & be patient. If you get too close, you will not get an even coat, it'll be splotchy as hell (& it's impossible to remove without destroying something, just cover splotches immediately with edible glitter, it's great for that if you hsve something like chocolate that is too dry to accept glitter), & you'll make whatever edible paint, icing, & anything with food coloring bleed or fall apart with too thick a coat. This stuff is fantastic, but using it has a learning curve, it's not magic & it's not straightforward. It WILL stain anything it gets on & it's damn near impossible to remove unless you can scrub the surface like hell. I usually take things outside & use a large silcione mat.If you DO mess up, have a sponge brush handy, sometimes you can get it to re-coat, but you need to move quick. It dries FAST. If you have to get up to grab a brush, it's already over, bust out the glitter & take a deep breathe.I've used this on cookies, cake, cakepops, pie, bread, buttercream, royal icing, chocolate, etc. it works on everything & leaves no taste. Be sure everything has a nice crust bare minimum prior to application. As far as I can tell, it's the best one out there & it's a decent price for what you get. I bake all the time & it took me a couple months to get through the bottle.

Works well
Used this to give hard candy a longer shelf life, worked great. Plus made my candies even shinier. Did not change the flavor at all

COVER YOUR WORK AREA!
This has a terrific shine. But, be sure to give the food item one or two DISTANT sprays in a sweeping motion. Close up spraying puddles on the food and dries terribly. More importantly, cover your work area well. I ended up putting up and old sheet to my backsplach and surround counter. At first it's wet then becomes a tacky to dry substance that takes a miracle to remove! I used up all my fingernails and every safe cleaner I could use to remove it. Finally, it just dissolved after a long time and a lot of effort to remove it. My next batch of iced cookies I setup a work table outside, brought racks out and quickly sprayed them and brought them in before any dust or bugs could settle on them. A much better idea. Another drawback, though, is it is expensive for the little amount that you get. I wanted the bigger container but just didn't want to spring for the extra money because I had other materials to buy. I'm going to see if there are local baking wholesale or retailers that may have better value offers. I'm just hesistant because many mail orders or stores won't take back a "food" item once its left the premises due to hygeine and food safety reasons. So, I'll use this sparsely. It did do the trick though for what I wanted to have extra shine on royal iced cookies.

Great for its purpose, with side effects.
I used it to glaze tempered chocolate, it did what I expected. Glazed the chocolate which provided a quick protective layer so it didn’t melt too quick with body heat. White chocolate has a yellowish hew so I added whitening ingredients to the white chocolate mixture to brighten it. I then glazed my chocolate pieces and unfortunately, the glaze dries with a yellow tint.

It hasn't worked for me
It's supposed to add a nice shine to chocolate but it did not the 1st time I used it I chalked it up to inexperience on how to use the product I may have overused it or not given it enough time to dry. But I had white flakes on my chocolate and it had a heavy heavy alcohol taste. I tried again the next day using yeah scan the next day using less and allowing more time to dry actually I let it dry overnight. It did not shine at all and it still had a hint of the alcohol flavor. In fact it kind of burned my stomach after I ate the candy to see what it tasted like. The can is very small for the price as well. I have an air brush machine and found that putting Is a high proof vodka and air brushing my cakes and candies works better

Not sure if it works
Didn't need, so didn't use. But, bought to cover the back of non-edible flowers used on a cake.

Size Not as Expected
This tiny can is expensive. You use it for a tiny second on each cookie. If you don't know by now, do not spray near granite counter tops or stainless steel as it leaves a sticky residue and stains. The can is very Small. Don't expect it to last a long time if you plan to use a lot. I didn't see any product improvement with my isomalt cookies. So. I am really not impressed. Sorry if you do love this product. (100ml can vs 325ml extract size.)
