Looks and feels like a professional quality mike.
I first purchased this microphone a couple years ago to use with a TYT MD-380 DMR walkie talkie, a Kenwood TH77A, and a Baofeng UV5R talkie. It sounds great on all those radios for both transmitting and receiving.Pros: Looks similar to a Motorola microphone. Feels more solid and heavier than other Baofeng type mikes. Has a durable swivel clip. Has jack for an earpiece.Cons: The heavier weight might feel cumbersome when clipped to clothing. The squarish shape may seem awkward when in your palm.Recently I have purchased this mike again because it fits three of my radios and I'm getting tired of swapping it between the radios. While other mikes might work just as well, I know this mike is a durable performer.

Plug on to side of radio, using my scanner to receive and have VOX Recorder program onMy computer to record my audio. The audio from the Ext mic sound bit muffle,but not bad, Has clip on it, I can have it clip on my collar with cord running on my backjust like police men.

Not for baofeng
Caused problems with the receive on my baofeng radio. If the mic was keyed quickly it would cause the receive to drop and stay dropped until a powe cycle or button press. No other mic tried does this.

Not as advertised
The listen-only plug is 2.5mm, not 3.5mm. Standard headphones will not work with this. If you plan to use this feature, expect to dish out more money for 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter.

Bad product. Ultimately had to return and purchase a different brand. Seemed fragile and low volume on speaker and microphone.Took forever to get a refund when shipped back. Very slow fulfillment.
