This provides an extraordinarily strong double sided foam tape that adheres to a broad range of substrates, including aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel, composites, plastics, acrylic, polycarbonate, ABS and painted or sealed wood and concrete. Canopus bonding tapes provide excellent shear strength, conformability, surface adhesion and temperature resistance. They are commonly used in applications across a variety of markets including transportation, appliance, electronics, construction, sign and display and general industrial. Reliably bonds a variety of materials with strength and speed for permanent applications. Application Guidelines: For maximum bond strength, the surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned with a 50:50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol (consult manufacturer's directions for use in precautions) and water. Ideal tape application is accomplished when the temperature is between +70°F and +100°F (+21°C and +38°C), and the bond is allowed to dwell 72 hours. Initial tape application to surfaces at temperatures below +50°F (+10°C) is not recommended. This worked perfect for what we needed
We re-finished an antique exterior door and re=built to use on an interior family room. It had a glass insert into a frame, and then the frame fit into the door. We used this to hold the pieces firmly in place so they could then be nailed in and moldings applied. It worked perfectly as we needed some sort of spacer, and stability.

Don't Buy It for the Box Cutter
The tape was fine, but the box cutter is pretty basic. I wouldn't trust it.

Great double side tape that forms a good bond but can be removed later at least from ABS. It is thinner than I expected.

Tape worked for the job needed. The box cutter and blades were a bonus!

Did not stick for me.
I tried to attach plastic to aluminum, I let it cure for three days. Unfortunately, it did not stick. It was easy to use.
