It sticks to everything, remains flexible for years and years. It is a good caulk and adhesive both so you can stick shingles down with it and fill the nail holes from the ones you just took off to cut in that roof jack or whatever. If you simply tape over the open end of the nozzle, the material does not dry out and will cleanly restart for months. It is expensive for caulk at >$10/11 oz tube most places but if you are lazy and don't want leaks, it's worth it. Tip: if you spit on the tip of a gloved finger, you can smooth it nicely too. The main use I put it to is roof repairs especially where roof meets something like a wall or jack.

we just had a fireplace installed and they had to cut away field stone to vent..i had asked the installer what they used ..it was this product..i had found that I wanted to do a little more caulking around the stones that were cut and I ordered this product..never used it before.,liked the fact use can use it in cold or hot weather...and in the rain..as I was using it I got some on my finger..does it stick..yes..i had to pry my fingers apart..they stuck together pretty fast..i think one of the best products for the cost..

Amazing and great sealant for many types of roof or even siding/ fascia leaks. I've tried a lot of roof repair and sealants in the past and this stuff in the caulk gun size is the best I've ever used. Used it to, seal some step flashing were it meets the siding, fascia, seal up a shinle that was pulling up and a trim piece that was leaking water being my siding and into my interior ceiling.etc. Solid, easy to go on and seals amazing. Don't hesitate on this stuff.

Buried in the tech specs is using Through the Roof as a seam sealer for waterproof fabrics like boat or BBQ covers. This was my application, and it worked great. Apply bead to inside seam, then smooth with a nitrile-gloved finger.100% effective and a fraction of the cost of task-specific seam sealers, especially on medium to large projects.

I used this to adhere some shingle edges that I peeled up for a roof repair, about 6 months ago. Bought on recommendation of a residential contractor that has been in the business for 45 years. No leaks, no shingles trying to pull up even with some strong wind.

Best roof seal it out there, keeps the moisture out does not look bad like tar products, holds up to extreme temperatures. I have found other uses, highly recommend
