Excellent value for money - did the job nicely!
Reading other reviews, I had very low expectations of this pan, but for the money decided it was worth a try. I was very pleasantly surprised at just how good the pan is. Yes, the metal is reasonably thin, so if you're expecting the quality of a pan costing 6-7 times more than this, then you will be disappointed. However, I was able to cook up a batch of curry for 25 people with no issues and no burning or scorching on the bottom of the pan and this was all on a powerful, outside catering style burner (i.e. very large burner - heat kept to medium or lower, however!). I was even pleasantly surprised that I had some limited success with this on an induction hob (but I think you'd need a thicker bottomed vessel for more success - so as per description, consider this not suitable for an induction hob). I wasn't sure if a 15L pot would be big enough for my needs, so to put this into perspective, I was able to cook approx 30 generous portions of curry and the total contents came to approx half way up the pan (it is 25.5 cm's high and 29cm's wide). I think, I would therefore cook for 40-50 people without issue (although the pan might start getting quite heavy at this point!)Ultimately, I wanted to economically mass cater at home, for friends and this pan came through with flying colours. I respected the pan by not exposing it to a very high heat and I was able to cook a thick sauced curry (Tikka Masala) from beginning to end, reasonably quickly, and by stirring regularly, I had no burning on the bottom and consequently it was very easy to wash up.(I've provided photo's of the inside and bottom of the pan, after 2-3 hours of cooking, on a medium heat on a very powerful catering burner, after it had been quickly and easily washed up.)

A great, well made product
I really liked this product. Well made and a great size when camping and cooking on an open fire for 4 or more people !

Big and functional with one caveat
In terms of size then this 15L stockpot is certainly big and adequate for what I wanted it for. I also have the 11L stockpot from the same range and notice that the larger base area of the 15L pot means it feels a lot less sturdy, and I am talking solely about the base. I am guessing the thickness of steel is the same in both and as such the base is a lot less rigid in the larger unit. This doesn’t particularly worry me but it does mean you can feel the base flexing when you mix things in the larger unit, which I haven’t noticed with the 11L pot, hence I have deducted one star.

Exactly What I Needed
The metal of the pot is fairly thin but fine for what I want it for. I'm doing a lot of jam making at the moment and need a pot big enough to take the jars for sealing. It is a big pot so I fill it using a 2 litre jug and empty it the same way until it's light enough to tip out the rest of the water. I would say it's really good value for money.

great size pot, BEWARE - buckles when heated! not fit for purpose.
this pot is great if all you want to do is put something cold inside.I washed mine - all fine, dried it, all fine, put it on the hob, turned the heat to medium, added some oil and garlic, and BANG! the base of the pot buckled up.It did not go down when cooled and washed and dried, it is now forever a convex pot.what this means for cooking is that all liquids now run to the edges, the middle of the pot never touches the heat anymore.Such a shame it is so poorly made.the whole pot is very thing, so lovely and lightweight, but the quality of the metal or the construction of the metal (pouring / tempering / chemical mix) or the fact it is so thin, has left it wholly unusable as a stock pot, which is what it is sold as.would have returned, but as it is "used" I cannot, but how would ihave known it was defective until I used it, the defect did not show until I used it.so - if you just want a big pot to mix paint in, or sterilise baby things in cold water in, fine, but if you actually want it cook with it - avoid this.

A perfect stock pot
This is a great stock pot.I already have a 15 ltr stock pot, but I needed a larger one for my chicken stock. To explain further, I tend to keep in the freezer the remains of our sunday roasts, and when I have a few carcasses ready, I make a stock by adding some vegetables and herbs to these leftover chicken. This pot is ideal for this. I could easily fit in 4 chicken carcasses and add the vegetables and herbs. As the pot is really light, I could still move it on the stove after I filled it in, which is much safer than with a heavier pot containing 20 litres of boiling stock! Before I cooked the stock, I had to press the frozen chickens down in it to make some space for the liquid and vegetables, and the pot remained absolutely solid and did not get damaged, despite the concerns raised by other customers in earlier posts. It is definiteley strong enough for the intended purpose. I cooked the stock for four hours, and due to my legendary clumsiness, I let some of the liquid leak out from the top and stick to the sides of the pot during the cooking. Still, it was very easy to clean it up afterwards, with just a bit of washing up liquid, a brush and a soft sponge. The pot came out like new. I highly recommend it!

Very light weight
This pot is fine for stock, the very thin base burns anything else easily. I bought with the intention of making a large batch of soup and had to split into two of my larger pots as soup was sticking in this. The pot is ideal for stock and for that purpose is good. With hindsight I would have bought a more expensive thicker based pot. For stock only the Buckingham pots does offer good value for money.
