Tons of fun but loaded with design flaws....
I love this toy but the design is filled with flaws.First, in order to install the batteries you must use a small screwdriver to loosen the tray for the batteries.Second, once the batteries are installed and the toy reassembled it is difficult to turn the toy to the off position. The lack of any true off position causes the batteries to wear more quickly and you are back to needing that little screwdriver in order to change the batteries.Lastly, after you have taken this amazing little toy for a spin -I admit even I was impressed by all the flip and turns this little dolphin could do- then you must fully dry the inside of toy (where the batteries are) in order to stop any corrosion from forming due to being in the water.So why then do I give this toy a 5 star review with all these issues..... well, that is because this little toy is like a good movie...It will cost you about $10 and it may make you laugh. Moreover, you might even get to use your little fishy 3 or 4 times before it will finally succumb to its inherent design flaws, but eventually all good things come to an end and this little fishy is no exception.

What a great little toy! My great nephew who is 3 loves it! It swims in circles and curlyques and provides a lot of fun

Fast and lively!
Swims superbly and very fast! We bought Nixies mermaids together in the same cart and those required 1 AAA battery while this one took 2 AAA batteries. But it swims really fast, and very lively. Everyone loves them.

Huge let down
Bought 5 other Lil'Fishys too. At first they're awesome. Used them in the pool and they were so cool, so fast and swam all over! They're really too crazy though. Two had to be cut out of the kids hair! They have little propellers to make them go - because they go so fast and dive up and down, you quickly lose track of them and they ended up tangle in hair! Also within a few hours they were all dead. The batteries are a total pain to put in too - one was all rusty inside today when I looked at it so it leaked or got wet some how. Not surprised because you can't twist it to turn it off without the top dang near popping off and exposing the batteries anyway. My sister warned me. She said the lady in front of her at the toy store was returning a whole bag of them... But I was hopeful. These are all going back
