I purchased two of these to replace a different model. Big mistake as one had a disconnected wire (dead on delivery) and the second one performed very poorly. The one that worked was much slower and harder to turn. It was such a significant difference from our previous model that I wasn't going to waste my time and money on this product. I returned both products right away.

I brought this for my nephew for his birthday,however, as it is something he has only recently got into I wanted something that would obviously work but not cost me a fortune. I definitely chose right, for the price this boat exceeded my expectations. So far he has only played with it in the outside pool but it worked brilliantly, so much so, we all joined in to have a go. The boat was simple to get going and the controls are easy to get a handle off. In no time at all my nephew(who is 8) was able to turn it left, forwards and backwards perfectly.He loves it and the battery life is very good. its quite a long battery life for this type of toy!

I was leery about this. When you read the reviews most were NOT for this boat. This is for a good reason. It did not work right after I pulled it out of the box. It never saw water. I followed the instructions (twice) new batteries, two different chargers. Just do not get this.

Loved the smiles on the faces of my grandsons as they played with the boats together in the lake. I bought 1 for each. the only downside is the battery only lasts for 20 minutes. But it's worth it. Just recharge for more fun.

When I first received this toy the battery wouldn’t charge. So I exchanged it for a second boat and the battery wouldn’t charge AGAIN. Many others have had this experience - I strongly suggest do NOT buy this product! And note that most of the high ratings are for a wall-climbing car, not this product at all! Pay attention, Amazon!

Battery charger red light will not light. Don't know is battery is charging?? Boat is small and cheap. Very little power. Slow.

The first boat arrived with a bad battery. The second one arrived with a defective charger. At least both could be returned for free. Can't expect too much for $30.00, but at least it should work for a little while. Find another supplier.

The boat worked for one charge and then stopped responding to the remote. It was hot inside so I would guess the motors overheated or wiring shorted. Complete waste of money.
