PERONA Women's Plus Size Swimsuits Shaping Body One Piece Swim Dresses Print Swimwear

I was dreading buying a new swimsuit but after reading the reviews, decided to give Perona a try. Boy, am I glad I did! The fit and support are amazing, especially for the price. The last swimsuit I'd purchased cost me well over $100 and wasn't nearly as comfortable. I purchased a second swimsuit right away and Perona is definitely going to be my go-to swimwear in future!

Initial take is that I like this swimsuit, but I don't love it. The neckline and the tucking on the bodice is well done. The solid navy color is a deep shade, which is what I prefer. Am also partial to the higher leg line of the lining bottom, versus a boy short (which I personally don't find flattering).What I don't care for as much is that the underlining which is supposed to tame the midsection isn't that firm. It could definitely be a more substantial grade of fabric. On me that makes the drape of the torso and skirt not fall as flatteringly as it could.The fit is good for the bust, and not snug enough for the waist. Hips section is okay. With the solid color of the suit, it could go from poolside to a public area by adding a sarong skirt as a cover up.

Its a pretty print and it seems to be made pretty good. My problem is the design. It makes me look like I have huge breast that hang to my waist. It has this weird flap that doesn't lay right just below the bra area. It seems to go from huge bra top to bottoms. No body area.

I've always had good luck with Perona swimsuits. Actually fit and they last quite awhile too. These are replacements for the last two suits that I've been wearing for the past year. I would definitely buy them again and they arrive within reasonable time too.

This is my second purchase of this swimsuit; a different color this time. This suit fit tighter than the last so I will be returning and ordering a size up. Ordered a 22; need a 24.
