Sun Hats Wide Brim Bucket Mesh Boonie Beach Fishing Hat UV Protection for Women

Man oh Man, why did this hat have to be so tight on my head? It's adorable in the pink, looks really cool on me (with my ponytail sticking out the back), and does exactly what I want it to do: provides me shade 360 degrees around my head while allowing my hair to be off my neck. But it's snug. I usually wear my ball caps with 2 posts free and most hats fit me fine. I'm going to wear it anyway and hope I get all sweaty on it and it stretches (before giving me a killer headache). It's a fixed size but it does have some elastic that you could pull this tighter if you have a smaller head and the strap for under the chin is handy too (if it's not wedged on your head already). It's a good material and the creases in the brim everyone complained about are on the sides for the one I got and aren't a problem at all.

i ordered this for protection from the sun when i garden. it's perfect!! i love the lightweight and it fits just right. it has a neat toggle that adjusts to keep the wind from blowing it off. the perfect new gardening hat!!

I really like this hat a lot. First off, it fits my head great. It is just snug enough that it stays on my head firmly without any slippage or being loose. It has the draw string in case I was in a windy environment and needed it....however, it fits well enough that I might not even need the draw string. It fits just right and is a comfortable fit as well.The brim of the hat is made of a thicker type material and the top is made of a thin material. On both sides of the top of the hat are mesh areas which will allow for ventilation of the head area. Add that to the thin material at the top of the hat, and it seems like the hat will "breathe easily" and hopefully not get too hot with the hat on.One of the things I love best about the hat....... is the cut out area in the back that allows you to pull a ponytail through or wear a messy bun through the back of the hat. I wear my hair up in a messy bun most of the time. The problem with other hats is that I can't wear my hair up because the hat won't sit right on top of the bun or ponytail. This hat completely alleviates that problem as you can wear your hair up through the gap in the back of the hat. It feels comfortable, fits right, and still looks good even with pulling your hair up. For myself, this is one of the greatest benefits of the hat.The hat itself is visually appealing as well. I ordered the light red one and it looks sort of like a deep magenta/pink color which I really like.I travel quite a bit to hot locales and I believe this hat will feel comfortable, lightweight, and will not be too hot. I like it so much I will be ordering it in blue as well.

So I look silly in most hats and this one, well still a bit silly. But the important thing about this hat is that it is functional. It is keeping the sun off of my face. The hat is light weight (I hardly know I am wearing it), water resistant, quick drying (It often gets wet at the pool), folds flat (and takes up very little room), has a wide brim (covers my face nicely), chin strap (which I use on windy days and put inside the hat when not needed) and pony tail access (love this!). I keep one in my pool bag and one in a bag I take to my granddaughter's soccer games. It was inexpensive and I may buy 2 more: one to keep in my suitcase and another to keep at home for my daily walks. I'm glad I bought these. Two thumbs up!Update: I now have at least 4 of these hats: pool bag, soccer bag, suitcase and car, in different colors. I have also purchased these for my daughter and granddaughters. I have machine washed and air dried all of them at one time or another. Still love this hat! Makes my dermatologist happy too!

I have a lot of trouble keeping my face from getting sunburned while outside (I live in florida lol) so I needed something for protection when in the water, at the beach, or by the pool. This is super light and adorable! It kept me from getting any sun on my face, and is a snug enough fit that it stays on if you're going on a boat or doing activities! And the ponytail hole is a huge plus!

Just a bit snug for my big head. Other than that great hat. I had to return because my head and hair too big for the hat.

It is so sad that this otherwise super cute, comfortable, lightweight hat is shipped by being folded up tightly into a triangle. The bends/creases in the brim won't go away. I sprayed it with water and lit it sit on the table for some days as one person suggested, but it didn't make any difference. Then I tried running it under the faucet to douse it with water and hung it to dry...left it hanging for days...creases remain. What a way to ruin an otherwise great hat. The top material of the hat also has many creases that won't go away. Perhaps with time the upper material creases could relax??? But I doubt the damage to the brim can go away. (think what would happen if you fold cardboard...same idea) I guess this will have to simply be a "useful" hat but not a nice looking hat.

I’m not a hat person. Usually those sun hats won’t keep their shape, fall apart or become so droopy you can’t see past the brim.I gave up looking for hats, until I took a chance in a new type of hate and now I have 3 that are similar to this one.I love that this hat comes in other colors, I got purple. It’s comfortable, fits great without needing to tighten it. Has room for a pony tail which is a huge bonus. It does have snaps on the side for a bit more of a cow boy look. It Breaths well and keeps it shape. It does take a bit of breaking in to get the hat to even the brim if you want to wear it cowboy style. It comes folded up and the creases take a bit of time to come out.Tip, if you spray the brim with water and lay it flat then put something on the hat, it flatters the brim faster. If you spray it and snap the brim and leave it on it’s side with a shirt on the top it holds that style easier.

großer Hut und daher ein guter Sonnenschutz. Sieht chic aus - wie abgebildet. Leider kan der Hut aber total verdrückt an - es war fast nicht möglich die Falten herauszubringen. Der Versand sollte schonender sein!!!!

First of all these hats fold small without creasing so practical to carry around with you to wear when needed.I am not known for wearing hats due to either sweating in them or feeling like I have a tight vice around my head or them flopping loosely about.This did not happen with this hat. It was comfortable to wear and stayed in place during an open top decker bus ride which was breezy. Despite it being 30 degrees throughout the day this hat remained in place and protected me against the heat without making me feel hotter or uncomfortable. I intend buying another one in a different colour. This is perfect for travelling.
