Best long handled scoop I could find.
This scoop is awesome. I bought a really cool coffee jar, but quickly found out that it was too narrow to reach into and scoop coffee from the bottom using an average length scoop. After extensively searching for a long handled scoop, I determined this was my best option. I do believe I made the correct choice. This scoop is hefty. It doesn't feel like it will bend or break. The entire thing is about 11" long. I love the style and shape of it, particularly how the scoop is deep and round allowing it to maintain a smaller diameter, rather than my other scoop which is wider but more shallow. If I have any gripes with this scoop, it is that the stirrer end is larger than I thought it would be. I would have preferred it to be smaller, more like a stir stick with a small paddle rather than a huge paddle. That is purely a matter of preference though and I cannot fault the design. Perhaps I will change my opinion on that in the future. If you need a long handled scoop for coffee or any type of powder, I would highly recommend this one.

Exactly what we needed
We have been using this spoon for the past two months. My husband wanted a longer spoon to be able to reach into containers when a product is low or to mix ingredients in the 20-ounce tumblers we use for coffee. I used to stir with chopsticks or anything else I had that would reach the bottom of a container. Now I can measure with one end and stir with either. We use it so much we always keep it in the drainer ready to grab. It is sturdy and I like that the measuring end is rounded and deep. It holds what I measure without the contents I am measuring sliding out if I am not steady with my movements. It is hand washed many times per day and neither end has become loose. We are very happy with this spoon. In fact, I am going to purchase this for some of my family members because I like sharing kitchen items that I didn't know I needed and now don't want to be without.

You Get One Spoon
Product is very well made, does what it's designed to do. As mentioned in other reviews this listing is for ONE (1) scoop/stirrer of the 2-Tablespoon size, as opposed to the 1-Tbsp size. This is in the product title and description; HOWEVER, it seems to be a common mistake to believe that this listing includes two (2) spoons. The product image depicts the two different sizes, and NOT the number of spoons included in the package. I'll admit I had purchased thinking I would get 2 spoons, but upon further inspection of the product listing here on Amazon, it is clear that this is for a single spoon of the 2-Tbsp variety. Yes, this is confusing, as there are 2 spoons of seemingly same size in the image, but closer inspection reveals that the spoon in the background is the smaller. This is not an excuse though, as the image reasonably leads one to believe that 2 spoons are included, one of the 1Tbsp, and one of the 2-Tbsp. Amazon has clearly indicated everywhere else on the product page that only the 2-Tbsp spoon is included. Admittedly the price is a little high for a single item, but it is totally worth it.

A Must Have with the Frieling French Press
We first used a French press almost on accident while staying at an AirBnB in Canada last year. I had been using an Aeropress for years, but had never tried an actual French press. After trying a simple glass one on that trip I realized that it was a lot easier and quicker than the Aeropress, and also gave a great result of coffee. I set to research buying a non-glass version and came upon the Frieling. We have loved using it! We use it daily, and have even brought it with us on trips (whether staying in a hotel or AirBnB) so we would always have the coffee comforts of home. Using it with the companion scoop/stirrer make consistent, quality coffee.
