Updated: Now works with my Samsung S9 after help from the vendor
I've purchased the vent mount charger from this company, which works great. This new model has a lot of good features, including the telescoping mount, very sticky suction mount for dash surfaces, and the easy open/close feature.I don't like vent mounts - they get in the way of everything! I was very glad to see that this unit has a telescoping mount. I have the mount stuck directly on my dash, extended to it's limit. It seems to be handling the weight of the phone okay, with a little jiggling on bumpy spots in the road. I'm curious to see if it stays stuck to the dash, especially during extremes of hot and cold. Dimition also sells a separate telescoping mount which seems a little more sturdy. I might try it to see if it is a little more stable. The easy open feature is better than the other model in my opinion. I kept touching it accidentally on the other model, but this one requires a slight touch to the top of the mount, away from where your hand might accidentally touch. At first it wouldn't charge with my S9. The vendor let me know that the bottom foot may need to be extended to align with the phone. Once I did that, it worked fine. My suggestion to Dimition is to add a note in the instructions to note the charging alignment using the bottom foot.

Doesn't charge well, doesn't stay put in air vent.
Pretty much useless. The air vent clamp is loose and low friction (yes I pressed the lever to tighten it), so the entire mount tilts from side to side as I drive. Never have this problem with my previous 3 dollar air vent clamp from Monoprice. The phone holder is hard to position your phone in correctly and no matter how I do it, it constantly loses wireless charging connection with my phone. My phone's "wireless charging on" animation is a big circle that covers the screen for several seconds, so this animation just plays constantly as I drive. Distracting AND it covers my maps! Even if I somehow get it aligned perfectly, it'll only charge my phone like 1% per 10 minutes. I have home wireless chargers than can charge 5x faster, if not more easily.I also dislike the motorized phone holder itself. Every time I turn off the car, I often forget to touch the holder to release the phone, so I have to pry it out of the holder., since it needs power to open itself.

Works
Only thing is that the wire going to the mount got bent and now doesn’t work. Other than that it’s good. It randomly opens and closes when the phone isn’t mounted. But I don’t care about that. Suction works good on my dash, rarely falls in hot exposure.

ONE WORD---INNOVATION!!!
WOW! Where have I been this whole time when phone holders have become so cool and high tech. I was looking for a new phone holder that can charge while holding my phone and I came across this one. I thought it was cool and didn't think too much and bought it. When I got the product---I was amazed. It has a blue light that lights up and matches the interior lights of my Camaro, and it automatically adjusts itself to your phone and clamps onto it so you don't have to worry about it falling. It also has a motion sensor on the back where you put your hand to release it. Only thing to note is that it can be a bit aggressive in which as soon as you place down the phone, it will clamp on quickly. Other than that, I love my new phone holder!

Of 3 Tested this came in as 2nd
To be clear, of the 3 devices I tested this one comes out on top for build quality and accessories. The reason i'm giving it a 3/5 is because the first unit died the first day I used it. The motor linkage that opens the arms stopped working so I had to request a replacement. The other reason is that the touch sensor that triggers the open/close doesn't always respond right away especially when hot air is blowing over it. The final reason is that unlike the WALOTAR https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZBFTDNR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 , this only opens from the sides. The clamps are curved which in my case didn't fit well with my iPhone X max with a case on it, again the WALOTAR is the only one that easily holds my phone in place. Now in terms of build quality and accessories, this takes the cake. solid and sturdy using usb C it does charge fast (but only after I take my case off and put the phone there naked) and it comes with dash/windshield suction arm and a very strong vent clamp. If the MFG incorporates 3 way close, proximity sensor and changes the clamp style to something that can accommodate larger phones WITH their case on, then I was easily rate this a 5/5, but as of today and because of failure upon arrival I can only give an overall 3/5.

Terrible Quality
This phone holder was not what I was hoping it would be. While it might stick really well, my issues are that it charges so slow and also the fact that it randomly opens up and my phone falls hitting my center console. It even refuses to release my phone sometimes so I have to pry it open. To much money for such a cheap product.

Works really great
The media could not be loaded. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 It’s Very well made and really sturdy . The quality is excellent I can’t find any problems except one, if your phone case is kind of thick or big like an OtterBox It’s not really gonna work too well , but if you have a thinner case ,,, no problem works perfectly .

Oh Boy! Another garbage cell phone mount!
The best part about this mount is how great it looks on the floor of my car, which is where it always seems to end up. Driving? Time to dive onto the floor! Sitting in a parking lot? Time to dive onto the floor! I really like when I come out in the morning to go to work, and find it laying there safely on the floor. Maybe it's an anti-theft measure? If thieves can't see your mount, they can't steal it. Brilliant.Seriously, though. This thing is garbage. Even when it's staying attached to the car, the wireless charging barely works. When it's cold, the arms will sit there, opening and closing randomly until you give up and unplug it.
