Funcional
De los mejores protectores de zapato para motos que he tenido, tiene un elástico y además un velcro qué ayuda a que no se caiga del zapato. Protege muy bien esa parte del zapato que se desgasta.

its thick rubber
I have aftermarket rear sets on. so there is no rubber on the shifter. It is also textured for grip. so it cuts through leather like paper.I have been riding with race boots with a pair of sneakers in a backpack this whole time. this guard is thick rubber and so far it has held up and I can wear regular leather boots. It is easy to put on and off my boot, I put in my helmet when I'm not wearing it along with my gloves. The strap to the heal is unnecessary. I always tie the loop the front lace of the boot. I do not walk around with it. As i do not want to ruin the strap going under the boot. Its takes a sec to take it off.

The straps that hold it in place are not that sturdy and stable
For 10 Dollars this thing will do the job, it's not going to do it absolutely amazing, you paid 10 bucks it will do a 10 dollar job.I've used this thing for a couple months now in addition to using a silicon rubber guard for the leg shifting lever (the silicon broke terrible I don't recommend it) and it's held up quite well. I even walk around with the plastic leg guard strapped to my boot and it holds up decently. Why it loses a star is because the plastic part that is supposed to protect your foot is hard to secure tightly and can move around into unfavorable positions during shifting and riding. The velcro/bungie combo that secures the protective piece could have been designed better to hold a more secure and tight fit.

Works good BUT.....
Pros= Works great I ride daily and protect my nice shoes, thick plastic, stays on my shoes in place, you can walk around and not notice it once you get used to having it on.CONS= the velcro on the strap sits on the bottom of the shoes, so it wears out(3weeks of daily riding) to the point where it doesnt stick together anymore......I put it around my shoe and sowed the velcro where I wanted it nice n tight to my shoe. Now its perfect months in.

Worthwhile *Consumable* item, it will last long if you make it
I use it to keep wear off my $280 riding boot.. of course it's not going to last forever, the band will wear out from pavement contact eventually. Im writing this as I replace the one I had two months. You get a lot longer life out of this if you just put some adhesive on the velcro when it wears /out frays etc. Set it how you want and glue the strap (not to the boot) and it won't ever come apart. Only reason I'm replacing it now is because the elastic has worn enough to where it won't stay where I want it (although I could cut the strap and reglue it shorter, just going to replace it).

It works.
I purchased this to go take my msf course to keep my non motorcycle boots from damage. I had no issues with this product. Went on easily and stayed in place while walking around the track. It's worth the $10, I can't say how long it'll last as I just used it for 2 days but would definitely recommend for an msf course.

For when your shoes cost as much as your bike did!
This little shoe pad is fantastic if you want to ride you cycle while wearing nice pair of shoes or with shoes that you don’t want to get torn up from shifting gears. Easy to put on and take off! We can’t wear cycle boots ALL the time, so be sure to have a backup plan…
