Descendants 3 Mal Costume, Officially Licensed Descendants 3 Costume for Kids

My daughter wore for Halloween and literally has been wearing it as dress up every weekend. The quality is great. I would size up to give your little room to grow and have fun. She is one that a lot of fabrics itch her and she hasn’t complained once. The Velcro in the back make it easy for her to put in and take off in her own.

My daughter got the Lead Mal in a Descendants musical Theater show. They had a make shift costume but she wanted the real deal. We ordered a few different costumes from different places because we weren't sure when they would arrive or the quality. This one was the best quality and arrived fast! It is a 1pc but the material is thick and good sturdy quality. The others were thin like flimsy cheap halloween costume material and some 2 pics. This one was the most realistic looking! She looked great!

Outfit looked adorable. Great quality. I got as a surprise for my daughter who is Descendants obsessed right now, but because of an incident with another product in the package I was unable to use it and had to toss out the outfit. Unfortunately if I reorder, it will not arrive in time and my local stores do not carry descendants costumes so I’m going to have to go another route but I would purchase this brand again if I have need for a gift or costume!Side note: I sized up because my daughter is going through a summer growth spurt. She never got to see or try on the outfit so I cannot comment on sizing or durability. Just that the outfit looked so cute and I was upset to have to toss it out.

My granddaughter loves this Mal character and this costume did not disappoint. Yesterday, she put it on as soon as it was delivered and played descendants music on the echo dot and danced like Mal lol she lived the costume so much that she couldn’t wait til Halloween to wear it! So, it’s a one piece jumpsuit type thing with a jacket to put on over it. It actually looked so small but once she put it on it was fitting perfectly. My granddaughter is age 6 size 6x. So i chose the 4-6x . Fits her perfectly. Now waiting for the Mal wig. Sold separately. Can’t wait to see her in the whole costume setup. So cute.

It’s definitely WAY too expensive for what you get (I paid around $27). I ordered size 7/8 for my 6 year old and it fits fine. The material is very thin and cheap. It has Velcro closures all the way up the neck, and my daughter says it’s uncomfortable. However, she says it looks like Mal’s outfit and she thinks it is perfect for a Descendants dance camp that she will be attending. This is why I gave it 3 stars. Otherwise this overpriced, cheaply made costume deserves a 1 or 2 star rating. It is okay if you are pressed for time, but look elsewhere if you are expecting high quality (or hoping to get more than a couple of uses out of it).

UPDATE: the seller sent the vest and it arrived 3 business days after I reached out to them. Kudos for customer service! I increased the rating from 2 to 4 stars. She needs this costume for her dance class later this season, so I’m glad we now have a complete costume!Original review: Order arrived on time, but didn’t include the vest that the packaging claims. It was just the jumpsuit. Of course tomorrow is Halloween so it’s too late to return, so she’s just going to have to wear it without the vest.For sizing info, my daughter is just now getting into a size 10-12, but the 7-8 fit her fine. It would say overall it’s true to size.
