I try and read a little every day. This book is wonderful and helpful with whatever your going through.

I've been wanting to read Meditations for a while now, and saw this edition for a nice price. I was a little hesitant seeing as some of the reviews mentioned bad printing and thin pages. Worries were unfounded though; book is solidly constructed and the paper is standard and tough. No misaligned pages or whatnot. As to the content, I'm just beginning to digest the book. The introduction is very informative and lays the groundwork for understanding Marcus Aurelius' work, and the translation is easy to read. Very recommended book.

Minimalistic binding was nice. Bought it as a birthday gift for a friend.

I think an older person will appreciate this book most because it was written from the perspective of an older person. It is a great companion book for someone who gets their instruction from the Bible. Meaning, it’s Stoic philosophy backs up the turn the other cheek, serve mankind and love one another theme in the Bible.
