Worked well to catch medium sized flies
Having read previous reviews I was wary as to the quality, but these were the cheapest I could see so thought I’d give them a try.Over Christmas time we had around 20 medium/ chunky black flies annoying us with no sign of going.Within a few days 4 of these papers caught them all, so I’m very impressed. Thanks to previous reviews I was really careful opening them-used the drawing pin in the top to ease the lid out, then holding the ribbon in one hand, gently pulled and turned clockwise the tube. All 4 that I used opened up ok with only a small amount of sticky on my hands, which was off the lid (a bit of soda crystals in water soon got this off).

Just what's needed with the influx of flies
These strips have been a lifesaver with the influx of flies that had suddenly appeared on the scene. They are packaged nicely rolled up as a roll of cellophane would be, making sure the strips aren't weakened in any which way when attaching them to the desired area. This is very simple to achieve, theres an inclusion of drawing pins to wrap the loop around at the top of the strips prior to attaching them to the ceiling then watch the magic happen. Top tip - when unraveling the strips stop a couple of inches before the end or you'll pull the cardboard piece clean off as it'll not work to full capacity if pulled off as the strips roll upwards so arent fully displayed which leads to only half of the mechanism or so being in place leading to a reduction in insects caught. We were amazed how many flies, moths, daddy longlegs ex-etera were caught. We now use new strips on a weekly basis whilst the creepy crawlies are at full throttle and our happiness has increased as we arent constantly chasing flies around! See the attachment which are ready for changing after a week, you can't see as well as we can due to the camera but the strips caught a large number of creepycrawlies. These really are such a simple but genius design that's deadly to the craftiest of flies. Will keep on repurposing until the flys are no longer lurking in the shadows, living in a rural area though theres not much chance of that happening!I hope that this review is helpful to anyone reading looking at purchasing a product to help minimize the insects

Don't waste your money..
Horrible little rolls.. Really hard to open the caps as more than half of them did not have the string hook on the outside. Even when carefully unravelling them, the rolls stuck together and to make it better if you try to stretch them and they touch your skin, they will leave a nasty gooey residue that takes a few minutes under warm water and dish washing soap to remove..oh and btw, they did not catch a single fly or insect for that matter..

Does the job but cheap feel
Does the job catching flies, and fly papers are the best way to catch them I find. But you get what you pay for, these are cheaper than other papers I've bought and you can tell as they're harder to put up and sometimes the cardboard comes off the bottom when you are.If you can afford it try some slightly more expensive ones, if you can't these have caught loads of flies in my house and are fine once they're up just harder to install than others I've used.

Very effective
These have a been a godsend. Work brilliantly just a little fiddly to put up and take down. If the sticky part touches anything it leaves a very sticky residue even on hands you need to wash a couple of times before the stickiness is removed. Does the job fantastically and brilliant value for money will buy again.

Fly paper- adhesive
This is of very poor quality. It tears apart as you try to open it and the cardboard container falls off.The photo is what I managed to salvage to hang up- about 50%.The glue is ok but can only use part. Poor quality is what you get for cheap fly papers.
