Habau 2983 Sparrow Birdhouse with Feed Silo and Stand

I ordered one for my mum and she said she had difficulty putting it together. I then went and bought one as I was waiting for the price to reduce. The colour is nice but a lot of the wood is chipped and showing the unpainted colour underneath. It's really small! My fault though as I didn't read the size! I couldn't assemble it right either. The legs are straight cut and have to fit onto a curved leg! I measured around the base to work out how far apart to fix the legs i.e. divide by 3. Even then I screwed them in wrong as the side braces weren't in line. I don't know why the glue is included! PVU glue is pointless. Despite all this, I have kept it, but its literally because of the colour. The feeder inside I quite like. I thought the sunflower seeds I used would spill everywhere but they didn't. Already had blue tits and finches using it.

I think it’s a really good sturdy bird table yes it’s a bit shorter than some but they have a thin wood base the wood too this is very thick wood , it’s a perfect fit by trees as I get many different ones in trees already had few finches feeding from it , the colour the house is all very good

This is a sturdy bird table, it comes with the bird house complete and you have to screw the stand together.It is smaller than I thought it would be, not very tall.Overall I'm happy with it.

the spartows love this bird house. Little handy box inside to fill with seed. Well made and looks good. I would say maybe treat wood every now and then to protect it from weather.

The first time the wind blew, the birdhouse blew over & totally disintegrated. We picked it up & prepared to reassemble it. We then realised how shoddily it had been put together using just thin wire staples. Although it looked really pretty, it was definitely not fit for purpose. Hand on heart we cannot recommend this to anyone. After several over halls, last summer saw it relegated to the tip.

Flimsy, fiddly to assemble and don't expect it to last more than a few months
