I love this thing
I love this thing. What a great deterrent. It perfectly simulates a TV on at night. Most burglars don't want to break in if there's evidence someone is up watching TV. To supplement, one could always leave a radio on at low volume. My bedroom is upstairs, I sleep better knowing my Juno is on. Cost only pennies to use. Because of the Juno pattern, I think its better then a TV. I turned off all my lights and then walked outside around my apt. Oh, yeah, looked like some inside was up watching TV. A thief might thing I'm inside watching TV with a shotgun near my side. My dear friends, always close your blinds. God bless.

Home Alone
I set it up and went outside at night to see how effective it appeared. It certainly looked like someone was home watching TV. However, I found that the effect was best when no other light in the room was left on. So leaving a light on a timer in other rooms really made the house look occupied.

Sometimes sticks in white mode until reset suggest use with mini.timer as photo.cell not working properly.
Keep them guessing as to whether you home or not. Will not shut all the way off in either auto mode in daylight. Had to put on mini time to get it to.work by keeping it on at all times and let Stanley mini timer control the light operation of on and off times.

This compact unit works great. Just plug it in and choose the mode you want. With the shades drawn, it looks just like your television is beingWatched in the house. Does exactly what it is intended for.

This small light does a fantastic job! On at dusk and off 4 hours later. Can not tell difference from television.

For its price, it's fine. Reason for the 4 stars, the 8 hour timer is more like 10 hours. The 4 hour timer worked OK.
