This holder is extremely useful and easy to install. The magnet that holds the phone in place is very strong and will hold the phone in place without falling down. The holder slides into the vent, you tighten the screw, place the metal plate on the back of your phone so the magnet can hold and that’s it, ready to go. I didn’t even have to affix the metal plate to my phone with the adhesive backing it was supplied with. I just slid the metal plate between the phone and the phone case and it stayed in place. Worked perfectly. I’ve tried the flexible gooseneck holders that have a suction cup that affixes to the windshield, but these get in the way of my line of sight and block me seeing the road safely. With this holder My phone seems like part of the dashboard without blocking my view of the road. I would recommend this holder to anyone.

I am very satisfied with the product I purchased. I was on edge ordering a mount that would stick to my dash because of the adhesive and my line of sight. So, the vent clip was a great option. The product arrived expectedly. The small box did not have any instructions on or inside because it didn't need it :)The clip is so easy to use. I liked the fact the design incorporated a metal screw instead of plastic. It was way more durable than I expected. When the wing nut is tight, there is not any kind of bounce or movement at all even in hard turns and bumpy roads. Inside the tiny box was also 2 thin metal plates to attach to your phone or phone case. I actually didn't even use the adhesive, just placed the larger of the plates between my phone and snap on case. This worked great! Also I have a ring case with a metal plate already built in that works just as great , so very versatile no matter who drives. Thank you very much for offering a great product! :)

The first unit I got was defective (it had stripped tensioning nut and would not keep it's positioning angle), but the manufacturer was kind enough to replace it even beyond the usual replacement period.My phone is a heavy S9+ Galaxy, and so far the replacement unit is holding strong.The magnet is very strong, even when sandwiched between a heavy case. But if you place a heavy phone like mine off-center of the magnet, it can fall fairly easily with a good bump of the hand. But if centered, it's quite strong.I still feel like I have to be a bit careful and not over-tighten the tension nut. But so far this is the easiest-to-use phone mount I've used.

This is the absolute best vent mount! It has foam along the edges of its “teeth.” When you use the turn-knob to compress the teeth towards each other the foam compresses which allows the hooks at the end of each tooth to lock onto the back of the vent fin. In other vent mounts I have used the mount itself often came off when I pulled the phone off (unless I carefully slid the phone down and off). This mount locks tightly in place onto the vent fin. It does not pull off.The magnets are plenty strong, lots of freedom of movement, the phone stays just where I positioned it, even on bumpy roads.Great design, excellent product, highly recommended!

I first bought a phone mount that fits in the CD slot of my car, which I never use for CDs. Unfortunately, the CD slot in my car (Lexus ES350) is slightly recessed, so it didn't work. I gave it to my son and bought this product to attach to the A/C vent in my car. It attaches well to the vent and the magnetic phone mount is very sturdy and super easy to use (no screwing around with clamping arms, etc.). I liked it so much that I bought another one for my wife's car and one for our spare vehicle. So far, I love this product.
