Looks nice and works well
I wanted to replace the riser on my old Samick Sage because it started to develop a crack in the shelf. This new replacement was very nice looking, brand new and everything works great after putting my limbs on the new riser.

Good riser
I bought this riser to replace my original samick riser that split and expected to get an identical replacement. However the new riser was not identical the pins where different and the riser is actually just a bit longer than the old one. Although unless you're like me and go over everything with a fine toothed comb you would never notice. But what was profoundly different was the finish the old riser had a shiny finish which was very beautiful amd stood out. Where as the new riser has a flat finish making it darker and not very shiny which i like as it will make it easier to blend in the vegetation when hunting and not reflect the sunlight as if saying here i am. I post this review for those whom have had the old riser i have to know what to expect. This riser works just as the old and you will not be disappointed

Trusted by Scouts BSA Summer Camps
I am an Archery instructor, and was in charge of the range at Camp Baldwin. These bows worked really well, I was so impressed I bought three for my Troop.

consistent quality
So, this is my fourth riser. I've read alot of the reviews when i was deciding which to purchase in th beginning. Some said the new ones were not the same as the old risers. Some said the limbs were different and not the same quality. Well, all I can say is that once I made the decision to go with the Samick Sage brand, I've purchased 4 risers and 6 sets of limbs from 35 to 60 lbs. all seem to be working just fine even though there are differing markings. I have found no difference in quality despite there being different markings. It's a fine quality product.

Very happy with my new Samick sage riser
Very happy with my new Samick sage riser. Everything fit like it was suppose to. The only thing I have found is, the grip is thicker than my original riser. But, it works fine. So it's not a set back by any means. The shipping was decent. It arrived on time like it said it would. I have no real major complaints.

Quality's a little off.....
When I received this riser, I purchased a set of 45lb limbs for it. I found that the quality of its construction was a bit off. The lower limb didnt line up flush where the bolt is, and there was a 2/8 of an inch gap that I since filled in. That aside, it still functions well.

My son opened up the box for Christmas and there were no limb bolts in it. He was really looking forward to having his own bow to shoot today.

This is the bow to buy for either new shooters or old timers like me. The cost is neglible compared to fancy custom bows and the more expensive bows offered by others bowyers. I own bows that are 8-9 times more expensive and they certainly can't out perform my Samick. I wish I had tried a Samick first as I would have saved a lot money.
