This product is well worth the money. The fit and finish is superb. I like the nail tying tool, and the hook eye cleaner. I use this trout fishing and sometimes the eye of the hook has glue in it.. this is really nice to clean it out with. Has a file to sharpen the hooks too. All and all, this is a excellent Item and you get 2 of them. Great Deal if you ask me.

I bought these to just have some extra snipes without having to keep toenail clippers in the boat when retying lures and leaders. Works great for mono and fluoro but won’t cut any of my braided line hence the 4 stars. Definitely cuts knot tying time down once you get used to using it

Gifted one to my brother and kept the other for myself. We both enjoy fishing and find this item a necessity. Clip it on your belt loop and it will be easily accessible to clip tag lines or to change lures.

I learned to tie a Nail Knot on a version of these, and could do it in the dark. Recently it went AWOL, and I had to look for another one. There are a lot of different Nail Knot tools out there now, but I couldn't find this version in any of my regular stores. Except for being a little larger (not a problem), this is almost identical to my original and ties the same way. It also seems to be a little better constructed. And, they come in a pair. One for my Fly Room and one on my on-stream lanyard. Very Happy!!!

The enclosed instruction card is horrible...it's incomplete and switches from basic knot to line-to-line knots (I think) without any notice! Doesn't really describe the line-to-line knot. The product video shows more info but is still incomplete...I may be returning this purchase...

These nippers are bigger than expected. I am used to very small ones, but these are probably 3-4 inches long. The head is wide and I found that on hooks size 16 and smaller it can be tough to cut the knots easily. They also do not seem to be as sharp as other nippers I’ve used. Overall they work but require some extra effort and conscious thought. I would look elsewhere.

For dislike it is smaller, that is also a pro too. I tie my own leaders and this makes the job a snap.

Bought this to assist with tying knots. Depending on what methods you used this might not be as fast but is more solid. Great little tool to have and is like a Swiss army knife for fishing.
