Worst USB's I have ever purchased
Both USB's failed when trying to copy files to them. I would perform a Microsoft "Repair Drive", after which it would say it was repaired, then try to copy to it again, only to have it repeatedly give the same error every time. Put in the 2nd USB drive and immediately got the same error after copying about 40GB of data. Bought one at Best Buy and it worked just fine for the whole 890 GB that I needed to backup. When first ordering the drive, it showed $29.99 as the price. Than when I placed the item in my cart, it showed a price of $39.99. I called Amazon and they agreed to refund the $20.00 once the items arrived. The item was supposed to arrive the next day (Thursday), but didn't arrive until Saturday. I would never order from them again. Cheap is what you get. I should have figured they might be bad when I saw what a "good" price they sold it at. Don't wast your time ordering this piece of junk.

NOT A USB 3.1
This drive is not USB 3.1. I've been misled before with a 512gb micro SD from Wish.com so the first thing I did was plug it in and checked transfer speed. 12 MB/s, suuuuuuuuper slow compared to USB 3.1. The capacity IS showing 976gb free but the micro SD card mentioned earlier was showing 490gb free but actual was 36gb. They hacked the card to show more than actual. Don't know if thats going on here but large transfer file transfer is taking so long It may take a week to find out. If it is an actual 1tb I'll still keep it. Even though its slow, Its 1fb flash convenience for very low price.

Guess I Have To Go Premium...
Regardless of Origin of the Product, research the Prices and other Relevant Information. Should have done that and saved myself the trouble of going through $80 (more or less) of faulty USBs, this being the 3rd.Either the reviews are lies or the companies send certain people good ones and leave the bad for whoever. Don’t know, but should have learned the 1st / 2nd time.Decided to quit a file transfer that literally took hours and had dropped from already slow 13mb speeds down to a few hundred KB/S...Scammer or just Mass-production of Faulty Products? These Scammers need to be purged, end of story. I can see that lots of the reviews in the past few days have been rating this product 1 Star, literally days prior, it had almost a 5 Star rating. Check the reviews for why.So, tried to transfer a 99.2gb folder, got a little more than half way, and of course had some corrupt files and less than half of what was supposed to be transferred over.I guess it’s time to expose and move away from these lowlifes and just be wiling to spend extra for a quality product.

Caused firmware error and reboot when inserted into Lexmark printer
I use USB sticks to transfer document to print. I was able to put a PDF file on the stick using my laptop with no problem. However, when I inserted the stick into my Lexmark printer, it immediately caused a blue screen which said there was a firmware error and it was rebooting. Once it rebooted, I used my old memory stick and it functioned as usual, but when I inserted the FYEO stick into the USB, same blue error and reboot. The printer is from 2016 and has worked with all memory sticks but this one. I wanted to love this stick, but it not performing the primary function I purchased it for.

Like others, mine doesn't work.
Copying files ceases at about 15% or so, regardless of the file size. I noticed many others have the same issue. Each time the transfer speeds returns to 0, I'm forced to wait as my PC becomes unresponsive until finally, it tells me the files can't be copied. After this point, trying to access the drive freezes up the PC until I reformat the USB drive. Once I can access it again, I attempt to transfer files that again stops at 15%.I was skeptical about the drive when I saw the price for the huge size. I should have trusted my instincts. The real cheap brands you've never heard of usually do turn out to be duds. Buy at your own risk! I'm returning mine.

Unstable with Windows 10
This flash drive has proved to be very unstable for me using it with Windows 10. I have lost some irreplaceable files from a trip to the UK and two years of video clips, because I have learned that many of my files will not back up to it. I thought they had, but they hadn't. Recovery was impossible for those that got corrupted, I tried 11different recovery programs and finally gave up. I have formatted it a few times since then with hopes of using it, but I get error code 0x80070570 when I try to copy to this drive. This doesn't happen with other drives. My 30 days is up, so I have lost a good portion of my life's memories and thrown money away. Very sad, and a lot upset. I'm talking many years spilt I've this irreplaceable loss. Update: On 12/14/2019 (worth a try right?) I asked for a replacement or refund, and here was there response:Hello friends, thank you for your support in buying. Format before use, no replacement or refund can be applied. Thank you

Update: Drive died before I put the first file on it
Much smaller than expected, which is nice. Comes formatted as ExFAT and had difficulty reformatting it as NTFS since I have files much larger than 4gig. Formatting it failed several times on multiple machines for some reason. Eventually got it formatted but haven't had time to check if it works or not. I'll check back after a while and update this if need be.UPDATE: One day later, inserted drive into computer and it won't recognize. Tried a different computer, nothing. A third computer, nothing. Drive died before I could put the first file on it. Total piece of crap this thing is after all. Its getting returned.UPDATE #2: Gave this product a second chance, requested a replacement instead of a refund. I'm beginning to think it's a counterfeit item. Same exact problem with the first item. I formatted 6 drives today, all different brands from this one. All others formatted to NTFS with no problem and worked perfectly. All except this drive. Locks up the computer when you click on it. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ITEM!
