anxious to read this classic with my 4 year old. The book come with a beautiful cover and quality printing. The price is a bit high but give it a try for putting a classic to a children storybook with nice illustrations.

Memory of my own childhood

The story of innocence and purity spelled out in the wonderful story of a little girl who met with love in her grandpa and her goatherd friend. I trust that my great grand daughter will grow to remember this lovely piece of classic work.

Bought as a present and she loved it

The general look of this book is beautiful. The story is well written and the illustrations are great. It captures the feel of the original book very well and appealed to my 5 year old granddaughter without it being “babyish”.

The book is even better than I had expected. The paper is thick and sleek, the illustrations are really pretty and the overall quality is all I could have asked for - great value for money. I'm so glad I went for it. I would consider it a brilliant gift for a child. Very happy with the purchase.

Illustrations are really beautiful I can just say wow !!

This is an absolutely stunning book! the hardcover has a gorgeous design on it and makes it feel like a book to take care of and pass on to next generations. I bought this book for my 2 year old daughter, having always loved the classic as a child. She enjoyed the lovely illustrations at that age, though the story was a bit long for her.However now that she's 3, this is her absolute favorite book! We have spent many a bedtime reading it together, with much joy :)
