This hanger fits the WSM 14.5 perfectly. It is very well constructed and looks like it will do the job. I really enjoy my WSM but wanted to try the hanging method for my ribs. I appreciate this is a small business and the fact the item is MADE in AMERICA. Thank you!

Heavy duty and well made! No issue at all with hanging (4) racks of ribs. Could have done 6 racks, maybe even 8 racks in my WSM 18"... Awesome product...

I've owned a WSM for years and have enjoyed using it. This thing however is a huge win since it cooks chicken and ribs to perfection and because your hanging rather than using the grates it allows you to cook way more.For example last night I hung 6 half chickens and 2 racks of ribs in my 18" WSM and still had space left over. The chicken was done after about 70 minutes and the ribs were done about 15-20 min later.I have no idea how it works but both the chicken and ribs were done to perfection. For whatever reason when you hang the chicken and ribs they cook evenly which is surprising since one end is a lot closer to the coals than the other. Also both the chicken and ribs were super moist inside and not at all dried out even though the water pan was not used and the temp was higher than typical smoking temps.Note, I still had coals left over so put the water pan in and smoked a pan of beans on lower grill and a pork loin on the top one.Now I have the best of both worlds a pit barrel smoker and a regular water smoker. LOVE the WSM

Great product and build. The only thing I would change would be making the entire thing one solid welded piece, instead having the removable top. The remaining cable top can easily fall if you’re not careful sliding around hooks. In other words, make the removable top unremovsbke, and part of the welded structure. Otherwise this is a great product, heavy duty, and I love it.

Solid packaging. Got this for smoking summer sausage, worked great. Like the removable top piece, can load the sausage and drop it right in and easily remove when I hit temp. Looking forward to smoking cured pork bellies in the future. Kinda pricey but glad I bought it.

My previous review was rejected, so I'm not going to go into much detail and fewer photos. This Rib Hanger can be used in the Old Smokey Electric Smoker (OSES), but you have to fashion 4 metal hangar brackets. I used aluminum pieces from my scrap metal bin. They fit onto the existing screws in the OSES. I could fit three racks of Saint Louis ribs by halving them into six.

Ive been using a wsm for about 20 years and wanted to change things up a bit and try hanging meat like chicken-ribs in the smoker, I find it easier basting meat and taking it in and out of the smoker...Im a convert , this product is professionally made and fits perfectly....a definite buy imoside note, I have the 18 wsm, I cut my ribs in half so they dont get too close to the fire and I use the firedial heat deflector in case the meat falls which has not happened after a few cooks....perfect combination
