Takoyaki Kit "2pack set"
A**
Basically takoyaki flour mix
It's not a takoyaki kit since it does not include sauce and Bonito flakes. Just the flour, little bit of ginger, seaweed and crisps. Instructions are not in English, but picture pretty simple to follow. Just add 2 eggs and 510ml of water or just 500. It came out pretty good, but I wouldn't buy this again for $9. Since takoyaki batter basically all purpose flour, , eggs, water, soy sauce, dashi stock, and salt.

English speakers/readers, you can use this!
Yes, most of the instructions are in another language, but they have picture directions along with Metric measurements for all other things that are needed. This mix was great for a bigger like me. I did use fresh ginger instead of the dried that comes in the pack, which gave a better flavor.

10/10
I have been obsessed with these since I got them and they taste almost like the ones you buy in the restaurants. My family loved them I definitely recommend

Tastes really good!
Perfect kit! It makes about 32 balls. All you need is half a pound of octopus (I got the frozen ones because they're already cooked), 2 sprigs of spring onion, and the takoyaki sauce. Everything else is in the kit. Top it off with fish flakes and Kewpie mayonnaise if you like. The flavor is perfect. Note that each packet is good for cooking 2 batches. Cook on medium low heat.

Tastes awesome!
Takoyaki where I live costs 7 bucks so for me, making a four people serving for 10 bucks is a bargain! It tastes delicious. If you dont have bonito flakes, kewpie mayo, or the dark brown takoyaki sauce, honestly, it still tastes savory and good enough. I saw people not too happy about the packet size of the red ginger and seaweed flakes but all you need are a couple drops in each one, not too much. Also 510 cc = 2.1 (rounded) cups US. Would purchase this again every time I want to make takoyaki.

Want that anime feel? Get this batter!
It was very tasty. The batter will look watery but once you start to cook it it will form and expand (think crepe).I had to google the levels of ingredients I needed to cups and I used shrimp and veggies as a substitute for the octopus as my family doesn’t like it (I’ll still eat it with octopus)Overall very yummy batter. I can’t say if this is as close to Japanese takoyaki as I’ve never been there before but I enjoyed it.P.s. I used a cake pop maker to cook them it works very well!Don’t forget your pickle ginger and bonito flakes and an ice cold ramun or sake! Tune into your favorite anime and enjoy!

Yummy!
Everything in the packet was good! If I remember correctly the directions wasn't in English so you had to look at the direction pictures on the package to figure out how to make it. The rest I looked at Pinterest for the general idea. It came out really good.

Easy to make.
5 stars for packaging, ease of making based on photo (no English) instructions. Well, we didn't like it as much as okonomiyaki though, and will probably not buy again. Maybe if I made it with something other than squid the wife would like it more! Glad I didn't also buy the special pan. We used the Baby Cakes mini-muffin maker, that worked out well - didn't have to flip them as the Baby Cakes machine has heaters on both sides of the mold.

Okay for starters but not worth for the price
Takoyaki kit comes small amount of seaweed power, small amount of dried red pickle ginger, tempura crumbs and about 150g of takoyaki flour.Recipe is easy to follow, its in Japanese but translation is simple. However for the price you're better off buying 400-500g of takoyaki flour itself and find other ingredients which adds up the same. And you can make more than 32pieces.Taste is okay.

Delicious!
Ordered this after receiving a takoyaki pan for Xmas. It contains everything you need except for sauce and octopus. If you like fresh toppings, you'll need to buy those locally. It mixes well and made perfect takoyaki, even for a first-timer like me.
