These look great and were easy to install. Needed to get them soaking wet for install so they stretch tight. Highly recommend wearing gloves and long sleeves. The fiberglass on this will be very uncomfortable to get off of you if not. Recommended!

I used this in the headers of my '67 Volvo 122s/Amazon. The engine heat was greatly reduced. It looks good and one roll was enough to cover the entire header but perhaps a small portion of the second roll would have made it better. I could see the headers glowing bright orange/red underneath the wrap so I know it's doing it's job and taking that heat perfectly. Make sure you start at the collector and move your way up to the manifold.

So far, it seems great. I didnt silcone coat it, which caused me some itchy moments on install. I used the entire 100 feet, 25 feet on each up pipe on my 7.3, and 50 feet on the down pipe, resulting in a double layer on the ups, and a double layer on the down, with a triple layer on the upper half. I soaked in water, which made the tape handle eaisier, however, i had my brother hold the work pieces, otherwise it would have been pretty awkward.

The media could not be loaded. Easy to use, looks pretty spiffy!

One 50 foot roll ended up being enough for my pipes. I like the way it came out.Forget the latex gloves that come in the kit, the fibers poke right through and tear them and get into your hands. Get a pair of leather work gloves for this, then throw them away when you're done. I made the mistake of wearing the gloves I wore for this again like a week later and got more fibers in my hands. Easy enough to install, I just took my foot peg off and did it with the pipes still on the bike.The wrap smelled terrible when it got hot the first few times but I think it's past that now.

Wear rubber gloves and long sleeve work shirt and dust mask. Even after soaking in water fiber glass particles sluff off. When they get on your skin you will be itching for days. Not a good idea to breath in fiber glass dust. Adhesion depends on how tightly you can wrap the pipes. Trimmed stainless zip ties are like razor blades. You need to curl the cut end under itself

I like it a lot! I used hot water before installing. The clamps that were provided would fit my truck’s pipes. I had to order real clamps. I am going to order more tape for the rest of the exhaust pipe.
