Black Birds in Birdcage Hanging on a Tree - Removable Home Decoration Wall Sticker Decal

I absolutely envy those folks who can draw, paint, color, etc. My sister is one of these folks and she is extremely talented: she oil paints, makes tiles, sculpts, cooks, sews, barbers, gardens and much more. She can look at things that most folks would ignore and envision how it could look once improvements have been made. She is also an inventor. I have about 500+ pieces of costume jewelry, which were stored in a zillion containers. I never knew what I had and some of my pieces were damaged because they were squashed with other pieces. She engineered a beautiful product (wall mounted, velvet lined, 5'x3') that displays ALL of my pieces for easy access.To the point: I am talentless. I bought this product because it was exactly what I would paint--if I could--on one my bathroom walls. I was astonished when I received the product. My expectations were very low since the product was so inexpensive. I was delighted when I received the product. The decals were well made and easy to apply. I also found that I could deviate from the instructions regarding placement of the decals. And, I had fun applying the decals and seeing something evolve so beautifully.From a reasonable distance, the image looks as if it was painted on. If you put your nose on the image, you can tell that it is comprised of decals. Either way, the image is absolutely incredible, charming and delightful.The decals are easily removed even though they are secure once applied. I found this very useful to rearrange decals. I asked the opinions of my wonderful husband and beautiful brother, both very, very talented. (They can be charming--but they both can be critical without apology.) Before they viewed the image on my bathroom wall, they knew it would be comprised of decals and they snickered. They viewed the image and paused. They smiled and said they thought it was great and quite beautiful. They were indeed surprised! My sister was also surprised and delighted with the image.I highly recommend. Cheers!

It looks nice on the wall as the pictures show but:1) it came rolled in a plastic envelop that was flattened on the way so when I opened it looked like an accordeon. I couldn't flatten it properly as it was pressed. I thought it would be a disaster, but at the end on the wall it does not show that much.2) It is a bit complicated to figure out how to create an image as there are no proposed designs. There is a number next to each tree brunch that indicates where to start from at least. Eventually I put the images from Amazon on my phone to have them next to me as a guideline.3) I have rough walls, painted on oil base, coloured. The glue sticks rather well (for the moment at least, it's been 1 day). Considering also that was all rolled up, it did not loose stickiness. Compared to one Dandelion decal that I bought too, that would not stick. You could feel the difference as you take the pieces out.4) Tricky to take out the stickers as they have all short of shapes and they tend to stick on your fingers5) Not all is transparent. On a colour wall you can see the cage background in white and some flowers & bird eyes are a white dot/ shape. At the end I do not mind, but it is matter of taste, if one is looking for pure black shadow effect, then it is a no go as the cage really pops out.I give a 3 stars mainly for the miserable packing, lack of some suggestive image and if you try to take out the stickers (took me more than an hour to assemble it!) the black scratches a bit, oh and the white background of the cage.Christina

These silhouette birdcage and tree branch decals are very nice and look wonderful on the wall. I combined two of these packages, plus took one element of another decal packet, to create a unique scene.Because I was going freehand, I was applying and removing them constantly while I tried to get the look right. When applying, don't push down hard/seal it until you're sure that's what you want. The adhesive is pretty strong, but it's removable if you use care. When I was removing them, I made sure to peel them off all the way backwards. In other words, don't peel it back at a 90 degree angle to the wall; rather, peel it so that it's bent over backwards and your hand is running along the wall on the opposite side of where you're peeling. When I did this slowly and carefully, it did not peel any paint off the wall. It DID peel paint off, though, when I was pulling at a 90 degree angle and rushing it.I really like the effect and the freedom of being able to assemble it according to my own wishes. Using scissors and frequently just eyeballing the entire thing, I got the look I wanted to achieve. That said, there is a tiny diagram of an assembled tree + birdcage printed right on the decal sheet, in case you want something to follow. I used this diagram to the extent it provided guidance on which large branch aligned with the next branch and so forth.These decals did a nice job of sprucing up my rental apartment, where painting would have been a pain.
