A must tool for checking headspace

This modified case along with others that Hornady produces is great for finding the exact bullet seating depth you need to set for your specific rifle so that the bullet is as close to the lands/grooves as you can get without actually touching them to improve the accuracy of your reloading and shooting. It takes the guess work and manually testing of each round in the chamber multiple times in the hopes of getting it more exact. This tool will allow you to get an exact reading to the lands so that you can subtract off a couple hundredths of an inch off that measurement for proper seating of your bullet. Would definitely recommend this in conjunction with the Hornady overall length gauge for more accurate reloading.

Received the product and adjusted the seating depth for my gun. My groups are better than ever. You don't achieve precision with out being precise. This will help get you there.

does its job, use to use a drilled out once fired case and dowl rod to do the same thing. This is a bit more convenient and less ghetto.

These work great with the lock n load COAL gauge. Have one for most of the calibers I reload.
