I've been trying to get better about writing amazon reviews since I practically consider them gospel. I know, I know, they aren't all 'honest', but let me tell you, this one is. This make up kit got HUGE rave reviews. I have a daughter, she's young, and she loves all things Elsa, Make-up, sparkly, and unicorns. I bought another make up kit for her from Amazon and it was great. While she would have to GRIND the make up brushes into the make up to get it to 'appear', I found that preferable to this kit. Which has glitter.... A LOT of glitter. It appears that the eye shadows are not actually powders, they are like lip glosses. And getting the glitter off, once it's on isn't easy. I actually allowed her to 'do my make up' the other day and while many reviewers have said that it doesn't make you look garish or clownish... my fedex guy arrived during application and I'd wager to say, he did not agree. The blush is a bright pink and she actually painted my entire face with this... it looked like a terrible sunburn. All I'm saying is, it's not as 'light and airy' as I believed I was getting. I've decided to try and pick a few items up from local box stores that are more small child appropriate. But just be warned, this may be washable, but it's comparable to a glitter bomb.

It says right in the product title that the make up is washable, but when you get it, it says not to put on your skin. My daughter got a mannequin head to play make up on instead.

My daughter is 5 and has gotten I to make up. So this was a gift for her birthday.The set was complete and the carrying box is absolutely adorable! The make up is a bit much, glitter everywhere and finger prints of make up dust all over the place.Would recommend for older kids.

This was the only thing my daughter really wanted for her 5th Birthday.. She loves it!! It was packaged well, and washes right off.. I would recommend this..

My granddaughter LOVES this! Her Mother and I (Grandma) love the hard lunchbox case to store everything in. Glittery eye makeup, lightly tinted pink or red lipstick is perfect for our 4 year old because she doesn’t look garish or over-done. Just cute.

Bought this for a 7yr old girl who loves makeup and unicorns. This was perfect! It seemed small but once I opened it up it was the cutest bag! The inside is so cute with a leopard print interior with slots for the makeup brushes and a built in little mirror. I can’t wait until she opens it! The makeup seems decent and comes with a little polish as well. I can’t really rate the actual makeup as it is a gift. I’ll find out later whether it does in fact wash off easily. Rating is based on value and quality.

My 3yr old loved this as she is a huge fan of her pretend makeup kit before she got the real thing. The only problem is it is not washable like it says, the makeup has a ton of glitter infused into it and it has to be made of some type of grease product because it DOES NOT wash out of clothes at all. My kid now has permanent stains where the make up touched on her clothes so ensure your kid is wearing “playclothes” when using this kit. It takes several face washing to get the makeup off and even then the glitter will decide to stay longer then invited to do so.

We got this for a play kit for our 3 year old. We debated if makeup was a good idea for a child her age, but are so happy we did it. Of course, she’s only allowed to use it with supervision but it’s so much fun for her! Oh his product is great for the cost. I would definitely recommend this makeup kit for kids!

Bought this for my niece for Christmas, and it was such a success, she loves it! Its got so much beautifully presented little items, even the make up bag is great quality. Extremely happy with this purchase.
