Looks are pretty solid, little heavy on the money side but for the price pretty good quality for the price. I use this when I need to and it can store; a Samsung Galaxy A9+ 5g tablet inside of a Cacoe case, a planner holder, and notebooks, so for me it does what I need to, also is pretty easy to set on my legs when using wheel chair. The buttons are setup to allow a little bit of "over stuffing" which is why there are 2 sets of buttons. Also if it does come with the corners all bent please "LIGHTLY" wet it to reshape use the amount to get it flexable not soggy. Enjoy.

I cannot get over the quality of this piece! It looks way more expensive than it is!!! I am so happy I got it and will probably order more. It's large enough to hold a laptop and some files. Impressed!

I love the leather and the size, I use it daily for work. I do not like the snaps at all. Luckily a coworker is a leather worker and she added a hand tooled buckle and strap cause the snaps were just a pain in the butt.

Yes, it may be a simple product, but this is hands down, one of the top five, highest quality items, I've EVER received from an Amazon purchase..... and my wife has been getting between 5 and 15 Amazon packages delivered a WEEK!....... for every bit of the last SEVEN YEARS!!!! It definitely is THICK, DURABLE leather. It does distress easily, but I like that kind of thing. I don't really use it as a laptop case. I use it to protect expensive, high quality stationary, in which I carry in a messenger bag to and from my three different offices. Although sometimes I will put my laptop or tablet in it. The only caveat is that you should not expect to purchase this, as a laptop case, with the expectations of receiving a laptop case with the protection properties of a heavily padded laptop case or a hard plastic Pelican case. You SHOULD NOT purchase this, as a laptop case, thinking that you're going to get hard drop or heavy weight protection from it. It will provide superficial surface and scratch protection. If you do, that's really not really a fault of the product as it is of your expectations. You're not going to be able to drive an SUV over it and come out with an unscathed electronic device. After all, it is just leather. If you buy a base model Honda Civic you should be well aware that you're not getting Chevy Suburban and if you do, it's not the Honda's fault..... IT'S YOURS!!! It's a single pocket bag. There's no mouse, charger, or accessories pocket...... BUT THAT'S IN THE DESCRIPTION AND PRETTY OBVIOUS! Again....not a fault of the product. That being said, the leather is thick enough and durable enough to protect the corners and edges of expensive Rhodia and Clairefontaine notebooks and tablets. Basically, it maintains its overall rectangular shape without the corners of it crushing in too much. Again this is relative. It is still just leather. It's just not cheap, floppy, super thin, and incredibly flexible leather as compared to say a soft leather jacket.BOTTOM LINE: As advertised, for it's intended and advertised purpose, as well as the purpose for which I use it, IT GREATLY EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS AND IS WELL WORTH THE PURCHASE THE PRICE!!!!!

The quality of the leather is good. Stitching seems to be good quality as well. I have a feeling this bag with last a very long time based on its construction. Downsides are the buttons on the flap are slightly wider set than the corresponding button piece on the body of the bag so that you have to bend the leather to match them up and close the bag as shown in the picture. Not a big deal but a minor annoyance. My biggest issue is that the dye on the indie of the bag rubs off on my documents in the bag. My first picture is a piece of paper that was in my briefcase less than a week and got brown stains all over it.
