These are cheap and work well for a few years. It's easy to replace them though. The readings given seem convincing. The last one failed because the daily reset button stopped working. We experimented with a conventional glass tube/alcohol max/min device but the quality was poor and the indicators didn't work properly, so it's back to this.

Great little mini max thermometer mine had no batteries provided check before purchase.

Purchased for my grandads greenhouse. He loves that it has a high and low. He tells me how low his greenhouse gets which he was surprised. Was worried with the digital side of it , His 87 and gets on fine he loves it
