Detachable Magnetic Lid Acrylic Black Jewelry Display Case 14.75X8.25X1.15 + Custom NB Pouch

Just got two of these for displaying my rock cabochons I am making.Pro: Good coonstruction of the box. It's solid, and the corners are aligned. Window is a heavy, thick plastic, not wimpy.Con: Slight scuff on one window, only noticible if held just right in the light.Biggest Con: Magnets are very weak, can barely tell it's holding, and the lid will slide sideways off the box.To fix this (not worth the effort to return / exchange) I will probably glue (E6000) one lid flap side to the box, the other flap I will add stronger magnetic strip (if possible, not much room) or add a velcro tab to keep the lid secure.So, good product, good price, well packaged for shipping, but I would go with the hinged snap lid style.Don't forget this box is just the box, order display tray inserts separately!I ordered https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000RB3X8S/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_3I hope to put 2 trays in each box with a posterboard between to keep the trays separate and the cabochons in the tray compartments.

I bought these with a unique use in mind: I wanted to create subtle distraction safes for my boyfriend. He collects nsfw artwork, so I bought two of these boxes for him to mount on the wall and use as photo frames. I put some more safe for work artwork in the front behind the plastic panels, and then when you want to, you can just pull the magnetic lids off and reveal what’s hidden inside! The magnet bar lids are subtle enough that they don’t look like hinges or doors.They’re absolutely perfect as a subtle distraction safe photo frame! I’d highly recommend them to anyone else wanting hidden storage for jewelry, valuables, or other small bits of clutter. As long as you’re willing to do the bit of extra DIY to mount them on the wall and put in any hangers or holders you want for your objects, they’re wonderful.

They work great displaying my products. You have to be careful when stacking on top of each other, the plastic lids can easily get scratch so I recommend layering any felt on top of the lids while stacking and during transport.

Great box, lid fits well and securely. The plastic is covered with a protective stick on plastic that you peel away. It looks beautiful and well made. It came well packed and was deliverd fast. My only issue is that I underestimated the depth needed for my more dimensional brooches especially if I have a velvet pad underneath. Only my thinnest brooches fit.
