Great feeder
Ordered yesterday, arrived today. I bought this to replace a more expensive metal one that was rather flimsy and cracked on arrival so returned it. Anyway only just put it up so not sure how the birds will like it but it's next to the teasels that the goldfinches have been feeding on so I am hopeful they will. It is a fairly thin plastic tube so best be gentle with it I suspect but the green plastic perches and feeding holes are much thicker and robust. The lid fits snug but not too tight as to split the plastic tube (as happened to the previous one) and the base is very easy to unclip and take apart to clean and put back together easily, no fiddling around with screws that are hard to reach like some other designs, so old unhealthy clumps of seeds should no longer be a problem. There are only 2 feeding perches but if it works I will probably order another one. Perhaps a little expensive but happy so far and will be if it works and lasts a long time of course!... One day later the green finches are queuing up to get on it!

Not as useable as should be
I knew this was a lower price than the others offered in the range but wasn’t expecting it to be missing a port. However, I couldn’t be bothered to send it back so just taped the space up. That aside, it was very prone to letting water in and seed becoming clogged requiring me to tap it about every few hours which isn’t really practical. I won’t be buying this brand again.

EXCELLENT for healthy birds
This feeder actually exceeded my expectations. It's so important to clean and disinfect feeders regularly but most feeders are not built with this in mind. This entire feeder comes apart in seconds with a few clicks and all the parts are easy to clean AND dry. It's obviously not as sturdy as my all steel feeders but the ability to clean it so easily and thoroughly makes it the best feeder I own. I have the small niger feeder but it seems I've underestimated how many goldfinches would take to it. Because there are only 2 ports (and therefore constant fights!) I am going to get another, larger feeder. I would recommend this easy clean line with zero hesitation!

Squirrel resistant and birds love it
I love this feeder and the birds do too. The little birds took to it almost straight away, and it’s only got a basic seed mix in it (although the birds do prefer the sunflower hearts in the feeder next to this one). It was full yesterday and you can see from the photo how quickly this bunch of sparrows are getting through it. They even queue up on the branch to have a snack. They may only be sparrows but I like them and they’re very relaxing to watch. The squirrel has had a go at this one a few times and it’s got some teeth marks on one of the feeding ports but he’s not managed to chew through it. I put a pinch of cayenne pepper into the seed mix anyway so the squirrel only tends to try it once in a while if he does get some of it. The feeder is fully intact though and seems it will be for quite some time. If it does get broken I’ll happily buy another as it’s good value, well made, and easy to fill and clean

Best I've used
Had two of these for a couple of months and am very happy. Following cases of trichmonosis in our greenfinches last year, I now disinfect my feeders every time they empty (as everybody should). This product is way easier to clean than any other I've had. The plastic perches are easily removable making it easy to soak them in disinfectant and boiling water. And (so far) they are easy to reassemble (with a satisfying click!)Ease of cleaning is just about the only thing that differentiates feeders - the birds are most concerned with what they're filled with! But they look good too. Will be getting more.

Make sure you get what you ordered
Had recently got a niger seed version of this which holds a lot and the finches love. So ordered the seed version to try too as it looks like larger birds like starlings cannot use them. Unfortunately we got another niger seed feeder. Was going to send it back but decided to keep it anyway. The medium size is large compared to our other feeders and the larger size is massive! Not sure if the wrong item was picked or if they are miss-labelled in the depot but check when you get it. Two items were wrong out of the three things so may have been a human error.Feeder is good though.

pigeon proof and good value, works well.
This feeder works well. The perches are too small for pigeons, which scavange below the left overs from the smaller birds. We're in S London, so the parrots are a feature and they can just perch, but it's uncomfortable for them so generally it's just the smaller birds that use it. The squirrels can get at anything, so that battle continues, but I have it hanging in a wire now, which they can't access.... Yet! It's size means it doesn't need filling too often and despite its size, and feeling a little bit flimsy, being blown off during the recent games did it no damage.
