Glacial Beverage Center & Water Cooler, Cold, Hot and Cool Self Cleaning Tall Black Water Dispenser

We spent a long time looking for a top loading cooler with a fridge. This one is on its own island as there seems to be nothing like it. It's so modern and cool looking with the pretty blue light and the see through fridge door. The only reasons I didn't give the full 5 stars are b/c the instructions don't seem to include everything. There's not much, if anything, about changing from Celsius to Fahrenheit or about the handle. Also, it wasn't clear to me that we could either set the temp to a type of beverage or choose our own temp. It took me a while to figure that out. There's nothing about what the temp of the hot water is, but I must say, it's a perfect temp. When we were setting it up, we didn't quite get the need to let it stand upright for four hours before plugging in b/c it came to us standing up...like does that time count? One biggie: the directions are written in a way that indicates we should have received a bottle with it. We did not. It would've been nice to get at least a spill proof cap to use. Directions definitely need editing. We're still wondering if we were supposed to get a bottle with the cooler. Lastly, the lowest the temp goes is 37 degrees F which is the beer setting. Jon Taffer, from Bar Rescue, says the ideal temperature for beer is less than 36 degrees F. We aren't using the cooler for beer, but do like our beverages that cold. This cooler, all and all, is a superior product!!UPDATE: completely stopped working in less than a year. We got a replacement b/c it was under warranty. The replacement was nothing like the original, much more basic. That one eventually gave off a chemical smell so we stopped using it.

It is very hard for some reason, to find a water dispenser/cooler with a refrigerated bottom compartment. It took me lots and lots and lots of searching to finally find this one. They have all been discontinued for some reason. The moment I found this one I ordered it even though the price is pretty steep. The last one we had cost around $150 and lasted for many, many years. At more than double that amount, I sure do hope it lasts at least as long (and longer). It arrived within the time it was supposed to according to Amazin Prime. I followed the instructions setting it up and the machine never cooled either the water or the refrigerator. I called Tech Support and they concluded that I had received a defective machine. They told me to file a return through Amazon so I did and the Seller contacted me the next day. They gave me instructions to dispose of it and to send a picture proving that I had. After I did that, the new machine arrived within less than a week! It works quite nicely, a little taller than most other water dispensers but not a deal breaker for me.The instructions make it sound like there should be a 5 gallon bottle included but there is one little sentence where it says that if there isn't, to simply buy one at any grocery or water store.I found that a little funny but so true. I already had plenty so it was really no big deal to me.

I BROUGHT COOLER ON 3/23/16 OPENED BOX ,PLUGED IN AND CHANGED TEMP TO BEER SETTING WHICH TOOK ABOUT 2 MINUTESWITH INSTRUCTIONS,IT TOOK ABOUT 24 HOURS FOR THE WATER TO GET ICE COLD,AND ABOUT 8 HOURS FOR THRE BEER TO GET ICE COLD. THE WATER GETS HOT PRETTY QUICK BUT YOU CAN HEAR IT HEATING DURING THE DAY. IF YOU DON'T NEED HOT WATER OFTEN, THEIR IS A SWTICH ON THE BACK TO SHUT IT OFF.YOU CAN ALSO HERE THE FRIDGE COMPRESSOR WHEN IS COOLINGBOTH NOISES ARE VERY LOW BUT NOTICEABLE IN A QUIET SETTING THATS WHY I GAVE 4 STARS DUE TO COMPRESSOR AND HOT WATER NOISE OTHER THAN THAT I HAVE BEEN IMPRESSEDALSO IT HAS NICE HIGH BUTTONS SO MY 18 MONTH OLD CANT REACHITS A VERY TALL COOLER AND IT HAS TWO LEDS OVER DRIP TRAY AND ONE FRIDGE LIGHT WHICH LOOKS COOL AT NIGHTBUT THEIRS NO ON AND OFF SWITCH FOR THE LIGHTS THAT I CAN FIND THAT I WISH IT HAD .OVERALL VERY GOOD COOLER, BETTER THAN MOST,

My mom bought this for her rooM and she love it ! It has alot more room then we thought in the refrigerator. I really recommend this item.

I have had this water cooler for just under two years, paid a mint for it and was in love with it. Now the compressor for the water cooler is shot. That is just not right. My old cooler lasted 6 years.
