Xavier has been asking Laura out for months being turned down and he is used to getting what he wants . If he doesn't he takes it so when she turns him down yet again he puts his plan into motion and she will soon be his. Laura is attracted to Xavier but keeps turning him down she has too many things going on plus doesn't see why he would want to go out with her. Then she is kidnapped and it turns out her brother got himself in a bind so she offers herself up for his debt. In comes Xavier to clear up his debt and taking her till her brother can pay him back. In reality he is never letting her go but needs to buy time to have her see what he knows they were meant for each other.If you love OTT alpha possessive obsessed men you will love Xavier. From the moment Laura ran into him he knew he wanted her and she was something special . He would do anything to have her and he did. Laura is adorable and dorky which I loved. The chemistry between the two was hot and the story had me from the start till the end. Not to mention one sweet yet protective feline and some drama here and there to keep it entertaining. I got my HEA and epilogue plus a Mink fix which has become much needed . Worth the read so check it out.

These are usually cute enough, fun reads when done correctly. This is no exception. It's just a nice little story, though I would have been raging, if my "hero" had scared me the way this guy did. Directly or indirectly.

Such a cute, steamy story. An obsessed loan shark plots to get his girl who has a tendency to be obsessive herself. The kitten in this one is an exotic cat who acts like a guard dog. Fun times.

I don’t care for a story where one of the main characters deny their feelings throughout the whole book. I like to read about them as a couple in love with each other. Xavier knew he wanted Laura from the beginning and didn’t deviate from that. He showered her with attention and anything her heart desired. The whole time she denies him. I’m not sure how I feel about Laura. She’s quirky, innocent and sometimes childish

Absolutely love a stalker romance. Xavier will do anything and DID anything for Laura. I have to say I found her a little irritating. Why were you so confused about who he was. He told her point blank period what kind of man he was. Still, loved all the side characters as well.

Great writing, compelling storylines, humor, danger, sizzling hot smexy times, obsessive alpha H's, quirky strong sweet&sassy h's, cats and awesome HEAs is par for the course in this and every Mink book. I recommend the entire Mink library. Seriously, just read them all.

Laura catch’s the eye of Xavier a guy who owns half of Vegas. He asks her out numerous times and she said no. He is infatuated with her so since she won’t go out with him he has the loan sharks call in the markers from her brother. To keep her brother from having a limb cut off she offers herself in return for what her brother owes. Their story continues from there

So this is very clearly Stockholm syndrome, which they address, but it needs to be stated anyway.I really liked this. I thought Xavier and Laura were sweet. The story jumped in places, but it was good and I’ll definitely be re reading it
