SSDs are better than HDDs and I got what I paid for.
It functions correctly. It’s kinda hard to format it, in order to format the device to external I had to use ChromeOS which is kinda weird but other than that it works perfectly fine.Yes, it is actually 512GBGood build quality, the same as other SSDs I’ve used.SSDs are better than HDDs, they’re faster, cheaper, and less fragile. It’s is the normal 2.5” bay size with the SATA port so it fits into any normal drive bays. It’s the circuit board PCB with the plastic case (yes, I took it apart) but it’s well mounted in there. And SSDs don’t produce any heat. And unlike HDDs they don’t spin so they are completely silent as well. It’s easy to plug in, you just slide it into the drive bay, plug it in, and it works. It looks exactly like in the picture. I don’t know why you’d think it doesn’t…

Exactly What I Needed
I bought this SSD to give my ancient computer a much-needed upgrade. Let’s just say my PC’s boot-up time was more of a coffee-break suggestion than a quick start. After hearing countless people rave about how SSDs are the fountain of youth for old machines, I decided to give it a shot—and wow, they weren’t kidding. The installation was ridiculously simple. With the help of an SSD-to-HDD tray adapter, I had it set up in about 10 minutes. Honestly, the hardest part was finding my screwdriver. After formatting the drive, I used a free program called DiskGenius to transfer my operating system and files from the HDD to the SSD—a process that took about an hour but was as straightforward as it gets.Since making the switch, my PC boots up so quickly I barely have time to sip my coffee, and the games I’ve installed load faster too (though they’re not exactly teleporting me into the action). Still, the difference is night and day.Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this SSD. It was budget-friendly, easy to install, and does exactly what it promised. If your computer feels like it’s stuck in 2005, do yourself a favor and get one of these—you’ll feel like a tech wizard and your PC will thank you. Highly recommend!

Decent affordable SSDs
I recently installed two 512GB SSDs in my server, and overall, I’m very satisfied with their performance. Installation was a breeze—plugged them in, and they were ready to go with no issues. The setup process was straightforward, making them beginner-friendly even if you're not a tech expert. In terms of performance, these drives aren't the fastest SSDs on the market, but they're reliable and get the job done for my needs. Data transfers are smooth, and I haven’t experienced any lag or stuttering during regular server operations. If you’re running a server or need storage for general use, these are a solid choice.

Connection fails for Some SATA cables - do NOT fit right
Right angle SATA connectors work best. The connector sockets on these drives have issues with allowing correct mating with some SATA cables. These SATA cables do not have issues with dozens of other drives. While everything looks and feels right, multiple computers will not even see these drives in BIOS or are seen only intermittently . Apparently the connectors physically bind up such that electrical contacts do not make solid contact. Retention clips on problem SATA cables actually seem to make things worse.Otherwise when SATA connections work, you get the expected SATA SSD drive performance (just slightly below quoted ideal max speeds on most machine configurations). Nice enough for old beater machines serving their last years or as extra storage space where M.2 slots are full or inaccessible due to graphic cards. Although you will get much better results from SSD in x4-x8-x16 PCIe slots, the price still tends to be higher and direct booting is rarely possible.
