I use it to cleaning my Makeup brushes & airbrushes. Super portable, really does the job and cordless! I use it with 99% isopropyl alcohol but you can substitute any brush cleaner or a bit of dawn. It's really nice to have something like this to help me loosen the hard to get Makeup or paint near the heel. When I teach classes the students always find it useful to reduce their cleanup time. And I have to admit I've been surprised many times when I thought a brush was clean but I can still get more product out of it using the ultra-sconic. This is the smallest and most portable I've found &pretty powerful as well.

It is Loud and will make your brain hurt if you stay in the same room with it.I have not used any other ultrasonic cleaners so I have nothing to compare it to.This one works with a vibrating motor in the base. So it vibrates the whole thing. It does not seem particularly "Ultrasonic" because the vibrations are quite big. Big enough to vibrate the lid off when in use.I lay a hand towel over the top to keep the lid in place and dampen the sound.Suction cup feet seem to hold it in place on the counter just fine.I use mine for cleaning vintage razors and it helps a lot.So it works, but could be better in my opinion.Might just be that the larger, more expensive models are quieter and have more "Ultra" in the sonic.Comment and let me know.

Have always had trouble getting my contacts clean. No matter what I did, there always seemed to be an irritant left on them. Not with this ultrasonic cleaner. I have yet to have a problem since the first day I started using it. Can't be more pleased.
