Perfect
The quality and purity is exactly what you need, but DO YOUR RESEARCH! It's a lengthy process, but worth it. Great product.

Small sized. Picture doesn't show that.
Tiny container. Be advised it is a tiny little micro-jug. Not a large jug.

Ancient Chinese secret!
This stuff penetrates the wood, especially the end grain. After a lot of coats, it thickens and gives an almost matte looking urethane appearance. I repaired a Juliette balcony, routed rotten wood on the joists and then treated everything with Tung oil. I even squirt Tung oil into my pilot holes and on screw and nail heads. I then let the Tung oil harden and was surprised that I was able to apply an adhesive self sealing joist flashing that stuck just as well as it would to untreated wood. I'd read that the US military used to use linseed oil on their gunstocks but then discovered Tung oil.

Really good stuff. Smells great
Really good stuff. Smells great. A nutty-woody pleasant aroma. Drys slow, but well worth the effort. Refurbishing one old end grain butcher block and a fairly new edge grain carving board. Had to sand down the butcher block, It was really thirsty. Just take your time between applications and wipe off the excess after it has plenty of time to absorb. The first few applications did not require this. It all soaked in. Finished off with a home made concoction of coconut oil and beeswax. Both came out great. It was difficult to control dispensing the oil from the gallon size. So, I poured a small amount into a small jar with a lid. Then I could apply it to the cloth and board much easier. Labeled everything so I would not mix it with my other oils. The butcher block is round. So I put it on a lazy-susan for both sanding and oiling. It gave it 4 stars, partly because I rarely do 5. and the real test is now. How well it will last and protect the wood.

THE REAL THING
I refinished a dry, faded out redwood picnic table (photo on Right side) with The Real Milk Paint Company 100% Pure Tung Oil and Mineral Spirits, mixed in various ratios from 30/70, 40/70, then final coat of 50/50. Thats 30% Tung oil, 70% mineral spirits, etc. The Mineral Spirits helped to carry the Tung oil into the fibers of the wood, where it begins to harden and become part of the wood, every 3 days we increased the ratio of Tung oil, and applied it with a foam brush in very thin coats, then wiped it from with cotton rags after 40 minutes and let it cure in a well ventilated room with fans to circulate air. Final coat allowed to cure for 30 days. We will continue the final coat yearly to maintain the waterproof finish. Time intensive but worth it. Keep in mind Tung oil hardens in the wood fibers, it does not dry. Very supportive customer service as well. Beware that most products say “tung oil finish” but read the label, there is no tung oil in it at all, case in point is Minwax. I asked hardware employee for Tung oil and he showed me Minwax, when I asked him to show me on the label where it said tung oil in the ingredients he was shocked there was none. Canadian woodworking magazine had a great article by Cynthia White that will teach you everything you need to know. Research is the key because there is so much misinformation out there. TAKE YOUR TIME has to be your mantra to work with Tung oil. I’m so very happy with the results of our family picnic table, which I was lucky enough to work on during my Hawaiian vacation at my cousins house in Honolulu.

Great Product, excellent for cutting boards and butcher block wood items its non toxic and has a very pleasant scent !!
I used the RMP Pure Tung Oil and Real Milk Paint Citrus Solvent to revive and protect a thick decorative wood cutting board and a butcher block work bench. Both were dry and in need of a finish upgrade. First the cutting board was in good shape but dry. The first few coats were applied with about 3 parts Real Milk Paint Pure Tung Oil and 1 part RMP Citrus Solvent which is also a non toxic food grade product that smells nice in the home although I did the work in my garage until complete. The second round of oil was added the next day mixed at 50/50 as recommended by the RMP people. I called them for application advice and how to go about handling the rags and leftover product. I used sponge brushes to apply and between coats I just put the brush in a cup covered in foil and did the same with the product. As long as it's a cool location below say 80 degrees the product would not suffer or diminish in quality over a few days. After 2 days and about 6 coats the cutting board came out absolutely amazing ! The finish darkened and the grain just pops so beautifully what an amazing transformation and the feeling is silky smooth and not too oily at all yet now it no longer feels dry, Perfect !!Next I did the work bench which was in need of some oil pretty bad. I applied three coats 50/50 mix waiting a few hours or until nearly dry between coats. The next day I did the same also mixed 50/50 and the bench darkend nicely but not as much as the cutting board but again after letting dry out by the third day the bench was completely revived and the finish is much more resistant to water or other spill damage. Both the bench and the cutting board are far better looking than new. In fact I should have done this to both when they were new. I purchased the 32 oz bottle of Tung oil and I have 3/4 of the bottle left so it really goes a long way. Great Product and Great Support for the RMP people.

Very easy to use and my butcher block looks great!
I added an acacia butcher block into the end of my kitchen island. I used 3 coats of the Real Milk Paint Tung Oil and I am very pleased with the finished look. I have attached two photos of the butcher block, one photo shows about half half of the butcher block covered in with the first coat of tung oil and the other photo is the completely finished butcher block withe the full 3 coats of tung oil. I left the tung oil on for 24 hours before each application. I applied the tung oil with a paint brush and wiped off any excess oil with a paper towel.Follow up: I accidentally ran a sharper than expected bread knife through a loaf of bread and the end of the blade put a deep cut into my butcher block counter. I was a little freaked out about how bad the cut looked but I immediately poured a little of the tung oil over the cut and rubbed it in with my finger, the cut immediately darkened and faded away...I can't even tell a deep cut was there, this stuff is awesome!
