Premium Pet ID Tag for Dogs and Cats: Easy Scan QR Code, Instant Online Pet Profile Access, & Scan Location Alerts(Blue Paw)

I got this for my lab Desi as an extra safety measure, she’s already microchipped, but we just moved and I wanted it for ease of mind. With that being said, the Pet ID was super easy to set up, it didn’t take me any more than 5 minutes. The tag itself is cute and looks of good quality. I just received today though so we’ll see what the durability is like! 10/10

I purchased 3 of these for my 3 small to medium sized cats back at the end of October 2016, As of the writing of this review 1 of them recently lost the white disk attached to the back while the other 2 so far are doing fine. Many on here would consider this a negative however, please this is my experience.The customer service for the company that makes and sells these tags is probably one of the BEST that I've come across in a long time. I emailed them with my concern a couple days ago to which I received a prompt response as soon as they got in that morning. As of the writing of this review the company has gone above and beyond in my opinion to make-it-right by replacing the original tag as well as providing one of there other tags as compensation for my inconvenience. This everybody is how a company should react when something goes wrong and I wanted to take this opportunity to express my gratitude and appreciation.To review this productYou will receive a metal tag made of nickel with a plastic white disk in the back that has the Q-Code on it as well as the info on how to activate your pets profile. This tag is similar to a microchip but for the fact it's attached to the pets collar and not injected under their skin. I would recommend using both to have a dual layer of protection since tags can be removed and only by a chip can you prove ownership. The advantage of the tag though is that anybody can scan the Q-Code using their cell phone while a chip requires a trip to the vet to read which someone might or might not do. Please keep in mind that you have to create the profile and then activate the tag so both steps must be taken to ensure the code will work after scanning. Yes I've tested all of mine to ensure they all work.The web site profile is basic. However I personally likes that I can see other pets around and follow them as well as they can follow my pets. Kinda reminded me of a basic facebook for your pets. You get to have total freedom by putting whatever pictures you wish without or without comments as to what it is and all the pictures are posted on the community "board" for everybody to see.This tag will not "track" your pet and that is NOT what it says it will do. This tag will provide the location information of the tag when it's scanned by someone allowing you to determine where your pet could possibly be or their general location. However if this occurs after the warranty I bet a little bit of Super Glue would fix it if you've found the white disk that is.Overall I'm completely satisfied with my purchase specially after my recent experience with Customer Service and would recommend this item to anybody looking for something of this nature. I do recommend it for pets though not for other uses. There are different tags for other things medical, reason is because whatever you post on your pets profile is public on the community page.

Holding up easy to set up looks good

This was easy to use and let me put in a lot of information, I really like that if someone scans it, you will be sent the location. This will be very helpful if my dog ever gets loose.

The physical tag is fine. My design was more red than pink, which didn't bother me too much. The website was easy to set up, but it looks very dated. I want the best for my cats, but when I edit their profile, it feels like I'm posting an ad on Craigslist.

It looks nice and very durable. Love the QR code that links to your dogs identification for FREE. Add picture, name, address and phone number, so whoever scans QR code sees all the information.

The website to set up the tag is really buggy and difficult to use. When I tested it, it put her last scanned location to quite far from where the tag actually is. We used to have another of these by a different brand (had to switch bc it was in another country and doesn't work in the US), and it was a LOT easier to use, and it worked a lot better. I'd recommend spending a little more and buying a nicer one. I'm not sure this one is actually going to be very helpful. I guess worst case it's just a more convoluted way of getting my phone number and address than a regular dog tag.

The ID is about the size of a quarter and is surprisingly light which I am pleased with since my pup is tiny and not used to wearing a collar.It was easy to set up. They have a free and upgraded plan option.Seems to be perfect for what I was looking for.
