Ok, I bought these for my daughter before she was born and started using them when she was about 2 months old. She is now 6 months and I have been having major issues with leaking for about a month now. I have tried stripping them and using different inserts - nothing works. I also have Alva Baby and Lil Bums and have had no problems with leaking with either brand. I noticed that the lil mates have shorter leg gussets so that could be the problem now that my daughter is bigger (and yes I have adjusted the rise snaps for her size), but they don't just leak from the legs, they also leak from the top of the diaper, front and back. I'm mostly bummed because the Lil Mates make up the bulk of my stash.

The feather pattern is really cute, wish they were all a pattern! The only thing I don't like is the insert is a little too long if you're not on the biggest setting so you have to fold or squish inside. Should be good as she grows but for now it's annoying (baby is 13 pounds).

This were awesome diapers, they still leak some but it depends on how much you overstuff and how tight the babe is clothes are! (Compression leaks) overall we are happy with these and they are so cute !

I seriously have a MASS variety of diapers. BumGenius, Rumparooz etc. etc. These have been a charm for us....and are 1/2 the price!!!!! Super super please with the purchase that I even felt inclined to write a review....which I never do. As long as these stay affordable, these will have my commitment while I cloth diaper my kids. No more shopping around for me. Thanks Lil Mates!

I bought these for my 2 year old who is potty trained but still wets at night. I've been using them for about a week and they leak every night and in the morning I've had to change her entire bed because it just smells like urine so bad. I'll be going back to pull ups I guess. Just bummed I wasted money on these.
