Your tools are never to safe
I bought these cabinet locks because I had friends that said they were friends help themselves to a couple of my things so what I need to do is start locking things up and kicking in keeping a better eye on them so I bought these cabinet locks from Amazon install them and I keep my most important tools in these cabinets where I don’t have to watch is good because they’re locked. I looked up the key fob think they give you to easily unlock the locks very good product. I was very happy with it.

Still can not use with iOS
I have been trying to use with my Apple phone but transit cards do not work without having to ad money on a card. So I still can’t use that feature. It locks pretty well and I like the distance the cards can be away before it activated. I would like it to have a feature that I could switch of the beeping when it is unlocked. But next time I may go with the Bluetooth version

Simple and Elegant Security for small cupboards/closets
Great option for creating additional owner closet space for our short term rental home. The set up instructions were easy to follow and the functionality was great for what I need. I would give it 5 stars, but their isn't an option to disable the lock so you will always need to keep the RFID key handy for the more high-traffic areas.

Instructions poor, you can eventually figure it out. Adjustment takes time, shimming, and patience.
So, I have bought these before, these are my 3rd and 4th. The instruction manual is poorly written, half-baked English. No instruction for how to use the RF from a cell phone to transmit the open code, non-existent instructions. Blah! so that feature is right out of the box useless. The kit comes with extra stuff, not mentioned in the instructions what to do or use them for, so...go figure not sure after 4 installs what they are used for. On the basic stationary pin lock and the battery housing box, you need to give yourself a few hours to setup the unit master and slave cards, find the correct placement and adjustment on the cabinet door and align, I used perm-double-sided tape to help with that. Also you will likely need to add shims, or washers to get the alignment perfect such that it locks and seals and stays locked, then when opened the door may, may slightly pop the door out. Don't fret too much if your door doesn't pop out much or at all, only 1/2 of mine do. But the system works good to secure medicines, booze, and the like from unwanted access from kids or elderly. Be sure to remove the door handles and put one-way screws on any visible hinge screws too. And don't lock it unless you have access to it with the card, fobs, or from behind, once locked it is locked and you will need to remove hinges or bust out the door. My 3rd and 4th ones of these, so they do work.

Horrible Instructions
So these instructions are horrible. This is basically the same rfid lock as every other one on here, the only advantage is it comes with a separate lock for use with double doors. I bought this thinking I could open with my phone, turns out you can do that with any one but it’s extremely hard to add the card with iOS without having to pay so I still haven’t been able to. All in all it does the job, and is very nice actually but don’t count on the instructions to be of any help installing it. I think a non-English speaking third grader wrote them so save yourself the hassle and buy one somewhere else with better directions, even if you think you don’t need them you can prolly find the same thing cheaper.

Interpretive instructions
Love the lock - took some creative thinking to understand the instructions that were poorly translated into English. Sturdy, durable lock.

Tricky install but we love it!
We like this for locking a cabinet from the inside without anyone having to see locks and holes and stuff. Install was a little more challenging than I had anticipated because it was tough to line up both parts and the instructions were kind of terrible. But once installed it is very very cool.

Good idea while it worked. Poor quality. Died after a few openings.
Like the concept and was happy at first. Used it to secure a cabinet and worked great the first few times I used it. Mechanism failed after a few times opening it. I hadn't opened in about a month and when I went to open it, made a weird sound and I was worried that it had locked my cabinet shut. It did eventually open but now just makes grinding noise and does not re-lock so cabinet is in permanent unlocked state. I know this was inexpensive, but didn't expect near instant failure.
