Worked for few days perfectly but then it didn't work anymore

This was a replacement for my old router and a previous Asus router which I had issues with. I have had Netgear routers before and the router setup interface is similar, maybe a little dated in layout, but functional and easy to understand and setup.WIFI signal good throughout my house with download speeds the same as hard wired LAN connections. I had no issues with the MAC access control which worked perfectly.I did not subscribe to the Netgear Armour service and it can be disabled in the setup if you do not wish to use it, as others have noted it can slow things down.Overall, good router which runs cool and is connected to a Draytech modem on standard ASDL connection.

I purchased this to improve my home network WiFi range and security and use it with my existing SKY modem / router (with WiFi disabled on the SKY box)..Installation using the App was very straight forward and thanks to a QR code on the top cover of the AX1800, I didn't need to type in the key - just used the camera on my phone when instructed to do so in the App.It runs a lot cooler than my SKY modem / router and the App shows every device connected to my WiFi and also alets me when a new device joins it. I can also disable access for a device.Not tried the technical support although when I could not get AirPlay to work I almost reached out to them but resetting the HomePods back to factory setting did the trick.

Product is good and working well.

Easy to set up and manage.

Deffo not worth it compared to more modern WiFi 6 routers ..
