Dewalt Dwmt70778 Gravity Feed Touch-Up Spray Gun, One Size

Large Dewalt spray gun I bought some time ago and liked it it was built well so decided to buy Dewalt mini version. Mini version is like a night and day, first of all item arrived damaged as shown in picture, box was in pristine condition so it was obviously damaged at the factory. Secondly chrome plating is so cheap and incosistent full of dots and burns. To put it all together it makes me wonder about the factory where this was made probably in China and overal quality of the product, how can Dewalt allow to be associated with such a cheaply made product, $20 guns at local store look better made I just wanted something little more mid range.Update, exchanged the gun thinking I got the lemon, replacement arrived and plating is good but air cap was so tight i had to use vise with rubber pads to take it off, found the big gouge in the threads picture # 2. Obviously some knew as the air cap was next to imposible to remove.Final return no more exchange, soooo disapointed with Dewalt, its sad that they are sourcing from the bottom of the barrel factories in China.

I have sprayed a few RC truck bodies with this gun and get way better results than I was using a airbrush. It has much more diversity as it can spray cleanly with low air pressure and paint flow yet turn it up for larger areas.

I use this for applying Cerakote on firearms. I needed a sprayer with a metal bowl instead of plastic and the ones Cerakote wants you to use are out of my price range! I love it!! It is my favorite paint gun so far. Thinking about getting another to have for a backup/spare. Can’t beat the price
